How Do You Play the Twins?

The unnecessary story: my friend has an account that he let's me use but picks out the characters and such being as it is his account after all. Well he for some reason likes the Twins, and I struggle a bit with them.

The necessary part: so when you play the Twins, do you use Viktor mainly as stealth for Charlotte to pick up on with killer instinct, or do you mostly use his attack and hope Charlotte can get there before they crush him? Or a third option?

lots of people use victor for snowballing by getting injured states using charlotte, and then switching to victor. this forces slugging, but generates a lot of pressure.

what I generally do, is to walk charlotte to an area, and then send out victor to scout. once I secure a pounce, I'll go ambush the injured survivor, or I'll go ambush someone highlighted by killer instinct.

at loops, you can use victor and charlotte to set traps by looping and switching between the two for surprise attacks.

as far as I can tell, my playstyle isn't the most popular one among twins players, but I have a lot of fun with it. it may not be as glamourous as crossmap pounces, but it works for me, and it's a blast. a lot of the time, I just play them as a tag team and play it by ear.

also, if you want to get victor downs, slowing down healing is a must because otherwise, people will heal downed survivors before you can go pick them up.

@PixelBush also as some guides on YouTube. (here's the first one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZE3CuWn5LeU)

let me know if there's any other way I can help.

Awesome, I'll try em out! The loop thing sounds really cool cause I'm really tired of spending half the game getting looped so thats a really good idea! Thank you!

keep in mind you can actually bodyblock using victor and charlotte.

additionally, while victor is idle, nobody can hide to escape chase in that area.

oh, also, be extra careful about getting spun as victor. just wait for the end of the spin, bait it out, and launch at close range.

also, don't use the cat figurine, it'll do more harm then good.

I like using Victor as the main killer because of his incredible speed and built in Bloodhound to track injured survivors. I use Charlotte to carry people Victor downs to their hooks and to break annoying pallets. And while Victor is piggybacking on a survivor I’ll usually move Charlotte in that direction to either down them or to try and catch a different survivor out of position and get a hit.

I don’t really camp per se with the Twins, but I do use Victor as radar after he downs someone to keep an ear out for rescuers. Mind you, I totally get why people do camp hooks with them, I just have more fun chasing survivors with Victor than leaving him standing at a hook. 🤷‍♂️

I have a quick question: when Charlotte is dormant, does she still have a terror radius?

She does not so terror radius based perks don't work. Used to be a way to prevent Borrowed Time saves before that change lol

No she does not. She falls into what is called a Dormant state. She loses her Terror Radius and Red stain as well.

Oh your original question. For me personally I try to get the most out of both Charlotte and Victor. So for example if I down a survivor as Charlotte but see another survivor close by I send Victor out to at least get latch onto them and get them injured. This way you are applying pressure because they now have to do whatever they need to do to heal or risk getting caught injured. Additionally if the survivor wants to keep Victor hostage, there is a chance that it will also give you Killer Instinct on other survivors nearby.

If you want to play stealthy with Charlotte you will need to bring her Silencing Cloth add on or perks that allow you to have the undetectable status or oblivious status on survivors.

So all in all, what I think makes Twins great is the vast amount of information you can gain with them while also strategizing between each one depending on what situation you are presented with.

I'm not sure exactly what they're talking about but I'm guessing it's Circle of Healing, Twins are one of the killers who are particularly hurt by the disgusting healing ability it gives survivors since Twins strive on keeping survivors injured and sluggable.

Best thing you can do is use patience and focus with Victor as he is your key to applying pressure and finding survivors

I've been trying to rely on Victor's pounce more but what I don't like about it is I have a hard time finding the person he is attached to/they seem to always detach before I can find them.

Also, does Victor have a terror radius? I would assume so, but not having gone up against them a whole lot I just wanted to be sure...(and can he be blinded?)

I played Twins yesterday and the survivors put up one boon totem and I couldn't do anything against it. I would have three or four people injured and they were all healed in 5 seconds. It was off in some place where there was no generator so I wouldn't have been able to do anything about it no matter what without just dropping chase after chase. Miserable game. A killer being hard countered so much by ######### boons is terrible
