Hey Blight mains, I have a question
Is Adrenaline vial (green addon) good at this point in time ?
I've seen fair amount of good blights use it insted of speed addons. Are they just memeing with a bad addons making it harder for themselfs or is Adrenaline vial actually good now ?
From what I remember it used to be terrible and nobody liked it (as far as I know) but right now I see it get used fairly often.
I hate playing blight so I can't test it myself (right next to me beiing garbage at him).
Is it a good addon if you're a great blight or are you shooting yourself in a foot ?

It's still terrible. It's fun to use though because you can look sideways while Rushing, but the downside makes it pretty bad.

I suspect its niche use is if you happen to play Blight in such a way that you don’t rely much on Lethal Rushes for hits but mostly just use it to get into chases quickly. If your strategy is Rush into chase distance and then do a 115% speed footchase to finish then this add-on speeds up your map traversal so could be good for that. The downside obviously is you have pretty much no ability in the chase itself, so you’d probably want to have something like maybe Enduring and Spirit Fury to mitigate losing too much time at the pallet drops.
So I see it as more of a playstyle variant. Kind of like Freddy’s fake pallets or Meyer’s Mirror add-ons, it kind of changes up how you play Blight instead of being just a stat boost.

Yeah but the blights I get use in chases almost only their power and they're doing well with it. That's why I'm asking.

If you were to use your rushes solely for traversal then I guess it's not the worst thing in the world but really that's its only use, if you put it on you're basically locking away the ability to use it in a chase because unless you have some ungodly bump logic skill, it most likely won't work very well.
So yeah, apart from traversal, it is actually a pretty sizable detriment, more than the placebo tablet imo

Its not good, it lets you flick further but it otherwise completely removes your ability to use your power for chasing and a smart survivor will dodge your flicks.

My tell tell sign im playing a cracked blight is no ruin, probably running something like enduring, brutal, im all ears, basically only running information perks.

Best addon in the game, gotta use it with placebo tablet for sure !

It's good, the downside is awful, but upsides are huge as well. The problem is people will never try to learn to play perfect with this exact addon while they have normal Blight.

as some other people said before, adrenaline vial blight is playing a different killer from normal blight. maybe they are just trying it out.
