So I got into a match I played as Legion cuz i wanted pretty much I got destroyed cause of a Feng Min with a sabo toolbox that litterally destroyed all the hook, a Claudette with a purple flashlight, a David with fireworks and another Claudette that bodyblocked me, technically I only hooked someone. After they escaped,they started throwing trash at me cuz I was a "Baby Killer" And that I should kill myself and uninstall the game, I can't believe they say that after all they've done, Im so done with this game and the community that just throws trash at you cuz "ur bad", im actually really thinking of throwing this game. I love the game but the game isn't fun anymore when they just make the game impossible for the killer to even hook people.

    Just try again and close chat. Learn from your mistakes and watch killer streams on Twitch to get tips. The Entity's left hand has some really good counter jukes that really work. Run into every pallet like a maniac and you will take away their best weapon. Face walls every time you pick someone up, always hit someone if you can. Focus on bloodpoints not kills. Hook them and forget them so you can pressure the gens.

    Yes, this community is toxic. It's so easy for others to tell you to just ignore it.. but the fact of the matter is until this type of behavior is not tolerated by DBD it will continue. It even happens on these forums... someone will say something vile and some in the community will say to just ignore it... which just continues the cycle.
    I hope you reported them.

    Wake up man. The world is toxic. Not just this game. Not everyone gives a damn how someone else feels. It's something we have to live with. 

    At the end of the day, I think you'll make it through it.

    This community is the worst.

    You will get the most toxic trash talk.whether you win or lose.

    Crazy, ridiculous and borderline illegal stuff like death threats and wishes for your family to die...it's pretty obnoxious.

    It is just the way our world is...too many entitled babies with no parents to discipline them and teach them how to treat other human beings. For some reason, this game is the flame to those moths.

    Just rest easy knowing they are all too immature to ever say it to your face and feel bad for them because they are triggered over.this game. Imagine what their life must be like!

    You should report insults, death threats etc.

    There are some players who will always insult you. Which insult they choose depends on how the game went: It's either "noob killer haha" if they survive or "bad camper killer" if they get killed.

    If those messages bother you, close the chat.

    What rank is your killer? Some people are awful, but not everyone. Keep your head up and you're bound to find nice opponents, too. From how they were treating you, I would guess you're 15-20 and they were smurfing, so looking for a baby killer. I'm sorry you had to experience that. 

    Also, a lot of these people are children. If they do anything really awful, you can report them I'm sure. Otherwise, just ignore them. They're looking for a reaction. As kids tend to do.

    I am never going to stop advising people to close that chat box and leave it closed. It'll save you a lot of sanity. Making sure that your profile is also set so that random people cannot leave comments on it also helps.

    I wish BHVR would crack down on toxicity bans a little more. It's just frustrating how people can say some really derogatory things and get off scot-free a few days later when their ban ends. I'm not suggesting permabans at all, but maybe some form of punishment other than bans.

    I know this is a weird example, but there was this game on mobile devices called "Cow Evolution". Essentially, there used to be an infinite currency glitch on the game that you could get by changing the time on your device. Say I stopped playing at 12 pm and then I added 1 hour to the clock to make it 1 pm, I would just get an hour's worth of currency from doing that. However, the devs found out about the glitch, so now anyone that tries to do the glitch gets punished by not being able to get any currency for 1 day.

    I wish something like this came to DbD (not as extreme tho). Like if I were being toxic in the endgame chat, I would first get a warning. Then, if I violated the toxicity rule again, I would get a 1-day ban and 2 days of 20% fewer bloodpoints. This is just something I thought of. It seems like most bans don't really seem to fix anything. Those who were toxic will remain toxic after their bans.

    This is just another concept I thought off the top of my head, so tell me what do you think?

    a lot of survivors are toxic, its just the way it goes. Some killers are also toxic, it works both ways. The only way I can get a GG out of survivors is if they win. I say GG regardless of my performance. If I get a 4K I get abuse if I get 1-2 kills I get a GG :/

    I mean, it sounds like no-one did gens, how did you end up losing lol? You are probably not experienced enough as killer and you versed survivor with 1000+ hours.

    Just accept it that you verse players with way more experience who are going to destroy you cuz ranking system is broken

    From my experience, there is less toxicity in Rank 1. Of course there is a lot of tryharding during the match (which I really appreciate) but it's been a while since I got insulted.

    There's a good portion of lowbob Survivors and Killers that derank on purpose to troll inexperienced players and then either insult them for "being bad" or insult them for owning them (because technically you shouldn't have been able to win since they're low rank).

    My honest advice:
    Uninstall the game before you get addicted......

    I’m actually rank 1 tho, and tbh it’s hell in there for killers, I mostly play killer lmao, I’m just saying about the people that think they are Gods because they escaped lmao. :p I should actually just put a :) if they say things like that lol (I have 1000+ Hours btw)

    Don’t forget to bait the flashlight save if u know they like doing them.
