Why do I bring streamers during events to help everyone out

This has happened 3 times during the double bp event now haha

  • I generally never use my good BP offerings when playing survivor. I'll use the rare ones that give 100% in objective... but since you never know what killer you're facing it's often better to avoid using them.

Save them for when you play with your friends or just survivor groups in general. They will be way more effective I'm sure.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if some killers are forcefully gatekeeping themselves at low ranks to get new-ish players and camp them. So maybe wait until you get higher in the ranks too.

Yes you're correct, I will do this.

The doctor just camped me, 2 kept doing gens and one ran around doing nothing.

It's a pretty damn thankless task at times. I prefer bringing bloodpoint offerings as killer because I have greater control over match yield and I'm not subject to getting facecamped or hard tunneled out, but even then you get the same situation - sometimes you'll get survivors that want to slam gens and get out the door in less than five minutes and nobody gets more than 12k points. Or everyone ragequits on their first down and the last survivor jumps through hatch. I'm always left wondering why. If I see double bloodpoints in the loadout, why wouldn't I take advantage of that?

I usually save them for when I play with friends. Randoms are way too unpredictable. If I play with other friends at least I know one of us will benefit from the BPs even if the other dies at the start.

Similar has happened to me alot since Bloodhunt started. I will play streamers and a survivor will DC during load. I just quit using streamers. Or I'll get a killer to play a cake or streamers and he will kill everyone off quickly. I don't get how it's so hard for people to understand not to end the match so quickly rn.

this is why i dont use bps as survivor, you never know what kind of sweat the killer's packing

I'm not sure why either, since whenever I use streamers I end up getting the ultra sweat squads that won't even deign to allow me to have 1 hook the whole game. This last time just happened probably an hour ago. Ghostface on blood lodge, no slowdown, hex build to let survivors farm. Ended the game with 10k points.

4 dead hards, 3 adrenalines, 3 iron wills, 3 DS

No wonder I'm only bronze IV, no reason to play.

No offense but how do you die that fast? Again not trying to be rude but I'm pretty sure running the killer for 30 secs would've gave you more then that and you could've easily done that with 2 pre dropped pallets

    So what gives?

Doesnt matter which side I play, the moment I use streamers or event cake, I get the full sweat mode so I decided ti never use them again.

Giving extra BP to the enemy team makes no sense after all

And that's why I don't bring Bloody Party Streamers or cakes during events because they just end up going to waste.

Streamers aren't a gift to everyone, it's a wager. You're playing it and betting you can get most or a lot of points from it. Instead of putting a nickel into the slot machine, you're tossing in a quarter so that your winnings will be higher.

It's not a high-risk wager, there's no penalty except losing the offering, and if you're not using these offerings they're worthless.

I burn them as soon as I get them, sometimes I go against survivors that want zero interaction so they rush and leave, they get a few extra points and I get #########. I don't understand players that want to wait for a game and then get it over with as soon as possible, but that's their prerogative.

But by burning them a lot, overall I get lots of extra BP.

Anyways, stop looking at it as a gift to everyone, you're raising the bet, if you win, you get more.

I've found the everyone increase in BP offerings to be a total jinx. Everytime I've ever used one I'm the first killed. Was the worst back when killers could mori off first hook.

I was using a few of the anniversary cakes and BPS during the Bloodhunt this past weekend. Then I stopped and only used BP offerings that benefitted only myself. I swear, the way killers play when there are many BP offerings that benefit everyone is so annoying.

Each time I used an anniversary cake or BP, I or someone else was tunneled out of the game or people were DCing once they were being tunneled or going against a killer they didn't like. It was dreadful. Luckily, I had plenty of Escape Cakes to use on myself and it typically yielded a better turn out.
