What did I do to deserve this?
This is the third match in a row. And as they are low in rang an run little yellow perks, I must assume they play via EPIC as they were able to share their thoughts in chat.
They missed EVERY skillcheck with me on the gen. They left me hanging and dying on my first hook because I bodyblocked the hook for another teammate.
I am by far no S-Tier survivor. But this sucks. As a regular PS5 Player I did not disable Crossplay as I don't think that All of them "suck" as I often hear in Livestreams or read in multiple discussions.
But this is it. Congrats BHVR - ggwp....
EDIT: PLAYED MY FIRST MATCH WITHOUT CROSSPLAY - 3 ESCAPES ON THE NEW MAP. KILLER WAS A HUNTRESS.... 25K BP EACH. FEELS MUCH BETTER!

well they probably all failed to unhook or heal there teammates like they said and he just got unlucky and was left to die. i feel for him solo queue nightmare.

I dont know what type of incompatibility players have when playing with crossplay on but PC players have the same problem, I died almost every game when I played with console players, turned crossplay off and I escape at least 7-8 out of 10 matches. At least you died with players because they lacked perks, I was dying with console players with a full purple loadout, so it was not a lack of perks that got us killed but a lack of skill on their end.

Thats just the influx of new players. I vividly remember my first game: the gen was exploding ALL the time and I didnt know what was happening. I ran around like startled chicken, constantly in terror, and when I touched a gen, it would explode. Of course I didnt unhook anyone, because I didnt know better.
So give it a bit time, a lot of players will just try the game out and maybe dont like it but those that stay will get the hang of it, soon.

Naturally, it's the Epic promotion. I was wondering why I had so many newbies playing this evening (don't worry, I eased off once I spotted it).

I realized tjat they were new. A Laurie got grabbed of the gen by a Bobba. I bodyblocked the hook and thought so would the Claude next to me while there would only be a M2 comics. But they all ran away. The Laurie did not get hooked. I got hooked. Nobody came for me or for eachother. They litterally failed every 2nd Check (watched the entire match). The Claude hid with 2 crows in the closet.
At first we only got 1 in the solo-Q. Witch we could carry to a certain point. Then 2 and so on. I think this must habe been the 4th or 5th match with 2 or more EPIC newbies (my guess). I played another 5 or 6 matches last night without crossplay and the only one died in was with a Bobba hiding hid aura in the basement and started snowballing.
But those matches were soooooo much better.
I leave it disabled.
