I think its TOO much of a nerf to her traps, however, it's helped out a lot in loops and mind games. I honestly dont think it should have a drawback at all. Her traps are just a slow down, and her crouch and ambush are lackluster. That said, it's like playing a slow level 1 mirror Michael Meyers.

Is Amanda's letter making Pig stronger or weaker?
In your opinion, does "Amanda's letter" (Pig iridescent add-on) make the the pig stronger or weaker? Amanda's letter make three traps go away for a 16 meters aura-reading while crouched.
As far as i'm concerned, i feel that... in fact, it makes her weaker; since the ambush is very lackluster as an anti-loop and as a stealth mechanic. But that's just my opinion. What's yours?

I agree... its even stranger that both of her iri contradicts one another.

I think it's pretty balanced, because it makes the traps a lot weaker for the trade-off of helping your stealth. But, if i have to choose, I'd say it slightly makes her stronger, since the traps don't always do much for you anyway.

How exactly does it work if you have Amanda’s Letter and Video Tape? Does it just give one survivor a trap or is it still all 4?

It's a bit strange that devs think it's so strong it's worth taking away 3 traps. With this addon you are probably just as good as Pig without addons so it just makes her different not stronger or weaker.

Then what’s the point in using double Iri? Most iris combine well with the other but Pig isn’t like that.

In indoor maps it might make her stronger. But in outdoor maps she's definitely weaker than base kit pig.

It's not even worth bringing. Pig's ambush attack isn't even good enough for the aura reading to lose 3 traps.

If the add-on did not remove traps, he'd be pretty good (a real iridescent in my opinion).

It's an insult to Pig. The "big buff" to pig they were saying and every content creator was excited about was utterly garbage and an actual nerf to her best addons. Pig was nerfed once again.

Some add-on combinations were bullshit with bad RNG, so i understand the nerf to those add-ons.

I play pig using the traps so if I were to use it it would be bad and I usually can't hit the crouch attack thing anyways

I haven’t tried this add-on yet but now that I’m thinking about it it might be fun. 🙂 Losing 3 traps is potentially a lot of lost slowdown, but I’ll admit that the auras could be quite handy if the survivors are hiding all the time.

If you're hatting for kills, it makes her weaker - maybe, but otherwise it turns her into a different, much stronger killer. Pair it with an addon that improves her crouch attack and you can get so many surprise hits.
Also Pig's stealth is really the best, besides activating at will, she's the only killer that survivors mistake for other survivors. Sometimes you can straight up infiltrate. With auras, that's a lot of power.
