Where's Switch Crossprogression?
At this point I'm annoyed. A platform promised like last week was already given crossprogression while switch, who was promised almost a year and a half ago, does not have crossprogression yet. To make matters worse, you got all our hopes up on tuesday when we were given the in game message that crossprogression was live on switch. Where is it? What's the holdup?

That sucks because at this point I know a lot of switch players who would just take crossprogression as is for switch and just rebuy dlcs on other platforms. We're just so tired of waiting especially after what happened on tuesday where it looked like we finally had it.

This response about the technical difficulties and them no longer knowing when it will come is so sad. It (to me at least) just sounds like they've given up on adding it and it's never going to be added. Dissapointing we aren't told more :/ :(

I sincerely doubt it really and truly is "technical difficulties" that they are having. all of the progress (except achievements) are stored on BHVR servers, not the platforms, and they have already implemented this for other accounts, so unless Nintendo/MS/Sony are overly complicated or secure in validating player identity this should be nothing.
Thanks to the mud-like transparency in BHVR communication on cross progression we can only speculate what the true cause is. But I for one am done spending money on this game until it's settled. I have bought this on 4 platforms, most of the dlc on 2 of those platforms, a butt load of cosmetics plus all of the rift passes, and all I really want is to be able to play with the same available loadout on those 4 platforms. then to see the switch cross progression notification on the last update... that was too much.

Feel you here. I've kind of... stopped buying DLC / Auric Cells for cosmetics etc. in general because I can't access all of my things from Switch / PC. More fool them I guess.

has there been any work done to progress fixing technical difficulties? like months go by without an update on something that was announced almost a year and a half ago and so far we went from 'q2' to 'soon' to 'no eta'.. it's so disrespectful to switch players who've been wanting to switch (pun intended) platforms so we no longer have to play on 20fps with playstation 2 graphics.. and it's much more disrespectful that epic store got cross progression for whatever reason with stadia and steam when all of them are bound to pc..

We went from "September 2020 with stadia and steam" to "soon after stadia and steam" to "end of quarter 2" to "maybe soon, getting in touch with nintendo" to "no eta" to "we're going to show you switch players what you want desperately by giving you guys the message but it's not actually here and there's still no eta"

I think comparing DBD on the switch to Playstation 2 graphics is disrespectful to the PS2 lmao
