Epic games question
So I've heard there is a way to link a PS4 or Xbox to your epic games account, my question is if you had another account for DBD on a different platform would this enable you to use cross progression due to it technically using your console name linked to your epic games account? I play on steam majority but I have friends who have recently gotten a PC who won't play DBD on there because they have to start over and have spent a ton of money on a different platform but this would fix everything and prevent me from having to hop on different platforms to play and chat with certain people I'm curious if anyone has tried this yet? I'm not sure how it works as I don't have an epic games account myself I only use steam on PC

I know that but I was curious if this somehow bypassed that due to it using all your console information if it were linked, I've have friends on PS4 and switch I play and chat with occasionally and recently a couple of them bought a PC we've been playing Halo and GTA on there but I can't convince them to get dbd because they don't want to spend money twice which I really don't blame them but it got me wondering how that works with epic games

Whilst you can link a console account to Epic Games, Cross-progression is still not available for that account, you can't get the information from your DbD Console account onto Epic Games Account.
