Maybe they'll switch to killer.

I think I know the answer to this riddle.
- First weekend of free Epic promotion.
- An enormous amount of new survivors and not enough killers.
- The MMR problem happens in reverse, and now it's good killers being paired against newbies.

The implementation is so anti-fun. It's not intended to consistently match players with teammates and opponents of equal skill. It's meant to ensure that you lose 50% of your games by any means necessary.
If that means putting you with brand spanking new 10 hour teammates, it will do that. If it means putting you against hacker survivors with statistically impossible personal metrics, it will do that.
It reeks of a mandate and power through by higher ups who have no understanding of the game itself.
Without fail, if my SWF duo friend and I escape two games in a row or so, we get matched with default cosmetic teammates who can barely function. This has been consistent for weeks and it makes us not want to play. Our MMR is likely pretty high. We go against very well known fog whisperers, 6k+ hr killers. It feels like we're having our win rate manipulated by the matchmaking system.

ah didnt knew about that. thx for the infos :D

Where they marked as crossplay? Because if so, they most likely came from EPIC... I had this a few times in a row as survivor (iri 2 / purple perks). First only one which we could carry sometimes even until the exitgates. But the later the night, the more new crossplay players we got. After 6 or so matches I diabled crossplay. And will not go back to it until this is fixed.
To BHVR: have you thought this through and if so decided this was the best to come up with? Well then ...gg wp to you *facepalm*

This is a killer forum. That’s not a problem. The problem is when a noed camper killer rank up and find a semi good SWF. Then he came to cry here because he can’t 4k

Ever since the game went free on Epic, I've been getting a ton of completely new players in my killer lobbies. It's nice to make easy BP, but at the same time it gets boring that I max out BP and have to basically stop interacting with them because there are still four gens left and I'd rather not kill them.
The game needs bot killers, man. I want to give these new players a fun match but holy hell, they're not even running a single perk half the time, did they check out the tutorials at all?
Once it got to be later at night I started getting more experienced survivors again. Annoyingly, there's rarely any middle ground, it's either completely inexperienced survivors or it's me struggling to get my 4-stack. I just want survivors who will finish the gens right as I max out BP, is that so much to ask?

Well said. The devs don't understand the gold mine they're sitting on. Fairness and competitiveness aren't what made DBD popular. What people love is messing around and exploiting horribly unfair things. MMR has absolutely no place in this picture, and neither does any kind of ranking system.

Why are you even trying to make this an us vs them thing?
Nobody even INSINUATED something about a Killer problem or Survivor problem. They brought up legitimate concerns.

I feel the same.
As Killer, it doesn't really matter. I get matched with the same teams for most of my time. Is it fun? No. Do I 4K more often than not? Yes.
As Survivor though, I see exactly what you are saying. Two good games. Decent teammates, an okay Killer and a fun match. After a bit though, we get teammates with
about that much time....
Killer was one of my friends with 4000 hours. Me and my duo teammate had 3000 each.

Yeah, I will say as a killer I'm still 3k/4k'ing the vast majority of games. But I'm having to run full meta perks on my best killers (Nurse/M1s) to 4k consistently. It's a sweat fiesta though.
