Artist plus Fearmonger combo?
So survivors can see auras of incoming Artist birds at long range and move out of the way. (In fact it was highlighted in the official Artist survival guide on the DbD twitter.) Which makes me think maybe Fearmonger would be a fun perk to try with her. 🤔 Fearmonger makes survivors Exhausted and (more relevant here) Blind while working on a generator. Which could make it really difficult to dodge the birds sent from long range unless you just intuitively guess one is coming.
If anybody has tried Fearmonger out on Artist I’m curious how it went. 🙂

Huh, that's actually a good analysis, and I would love to try that out. However I don't have Fearmonger on her, unfortunately.

Most killer powers that involve auras wont be denied by Blindness (Freddy, Pig, Plague, Pin Head...) so its very likely that the survivors will still be able to see the crows aura even while blinded, i havent tested that in particular, so its worth shot on a KYF lobby, but even if the blindess does work it will probably be considered a bug...

I honestly don't see the point of Fearmonger if you're just gonna snipe from afar. Like you're not even downing them or anything, it's just minor inconvenience that people can repel. Also I think you can hear the bird coming anyway like there's a sound cue. But it is a good perk if you don't want to deal with exhaustion on chases though. Really good if you set up a dead zone already.

If the birds aura's are white, which i think they are then they aren't affected by blindness sadly

Its a white aura so very sure that u will be able to see it.

Interesting point about Blindness and things like Pig’s Jigsaw boxes. Sadly I’m out of town for a couple weeks, if someone cares to try this out in Kill Your Friends though I’m curious to find out for sure if it works or not. (The wiki unfortunately says nothing either way about which specific auras are or aren’t impacted by Blindness.)

You know my friend said he went against a few Artists using Fearmonger. That's interesting, I definitely need to try that out. Watch people still call it OP lol.

Even if it hypothetically doesn’t blind to the crow auras Fearmongers still a decent perk on its own, I wouldn’t be surprised some Artists use it just because of that alone.
