Where is Deception useful?
(probably stupid question warning)
doesn't running into a locker make a noise indicator anyway? if so, how is this perk even useful
I guess it could work with Head On, since you won't leave some scratch marks, but 3 seconds still feels kind of slow, considering the time to jump out of a locker and turning to start running

You open the door of the locker and makes a loud noise, but you dont actually get in

To point the killer in the direction of another survivor in order to escape. Choy did an amazing video on that a couple weeks ago.

To be deceptive. Lure killer to that location while you are heading somewhere else. Combined with Quick & Quiet/Head-on can really screw with the killer. Why it's called Deception.

The wiki says it also removes blood pools, but I don't think that matches the in-game description for some reason. That kinda makes all the difference with the perk, as killers can just see blood pools and follow them.
In a chase, you can really only use it when rounding a corner with a locker right next to it.
