So what happened to Overcome?

Nobody knows how Dead by Daylight works.
I disagree, many people knew it would be forgotten after the first period of novelty. But yes, this community is clueless and never learn from its mistakes, repeating them over and over.

People overreact like always. I've only seen it twice since release, lol.

everyone who is half decent in this game already knew on ptb that this perk is not good lol

So what is your definition of a "perfectly timed" sprint burst. If its a 99'd that really isnt perfectly timed, what im talking about is getting hit by the killer than stacking the sprint burst ontop of that. cause thats really the only thing perfectly times fits into

I really really enjoy it, simply because It works perfect with my playstyle. I often go to take hits for survivors who are doing much worse than me to either take attention or give them some extra distance. Pairing this with the healing boon has made me get so much value with this, either way it goes.
Stay on me, it's gonna be a long chase. Turn back to the other, I go heal seconds and either hop on a gen or go back when necessary. Rinse, repeat.
It's also an interesting pair with Lucky break, although not crazy reliable of a combo.
Personally, I want it over other exhaustions perks for the most part now.

Haven't unlocked all the perks for a specialized build with it yet.

Did you really list plague and legion as killers who can't deal with this perk?
It does nothing vs plague unless you decide to keep giving her the best ranged power in the game.
Legion Feral Frenzy resets on injuring. The extra distance overcome makes is gone in a couple of seconds.
also trapper, oni, myers and ghostface can make this perk never trigger at all with their power

It's an okay perk.
It's extremely good in the picture perfect scenario.
It's pretty good in favorable scenarios
It does absolutly nothing in worst case scenarios and those worst cases are not uncommon.
In a world where dead hard doesn't exist people would take this perk. That's true.

It definitely destroys killer when it's deployed. I've seen a few 'wat' games on stream revolving around this perk, and have been on the greasy end of it too.
Who...exactly said it was going to replace Dead Hard though? I don't recall anyone saying this at all.
That's the core reason why you aren't seeing it more. It competes with Dead Hard as an exhaustion perk, and while Overcome is bonkers strong, it's not a third health state on a 40 second cooldown that also feeds the killer false information and futzes with powers.

I saw it all last week and everyone who ran it couldn't handle it......which was strange.....I had people running into walls or getting caught on rocks and wasting it. Only 1 match was it used properly and it was as bad as we thought....give it time for people to ha idle it better and we will see

As good as overcome is, dead hard is still better.
