The game is really losing it's players but can't say its surprising.
ignoring the 11k drop the month after nemesis' release which is expected after 13k new players flooded the game, since then it has been on a constant negative gain. well not really that surprising based on the company's game design and balance choices

Here we go again.

Funny how we blame BHVR for balancing around “the stats”, yet swear to these even more meaningless stats.

I wouldn't say Player count is as meaningless as Kill Rates, but they're still kind of useless

You could also say that the playerbase has increased by about 20k since April.
Its all about spin...

This happen when you dont care the community and send it to play civilization.

Where did dbd hurt you?

The game is almost at 70k and thats only steam stats.
On console are much more.
These types of threads make you sound like a dumb@ss OP sorry.

Ah yes, the same mindset of corporate America: There must always be a green delta from a second ago.

Not so sure, though it would be well deserved.

Literally, the only difference between then and now is September, when MMR was added to the game. MMR caused players to leave. Balancing and gamedesign barely has had an effect on increasing or decreasing that number.

People may be quitting but there’s still tons of new players coming everyday too sooo…

To compare you also would need console player stats. I assume there are far more.
1 -
Those are only PC stats, not really a clear indication of how the game couldactually be doing.

That is also true - more than April and May.
