Man's Trapping (Literally)
This is the only reason I personally believe DC Penalties are a yikes. Trapper and I have been standing here for the past 20 mins and nothing is happening he refuses to down me after carrying me to this corner of the map to which point its a game holding hostage situation. I didn't bother wiggling as the game was over thus he decided to carry me to this corner and keep me Trapped (lol) here pretty much expecting me to DC.

Record at least a few minutes. Report in endgame screen. Send the footage via ticket.
Baffling that this is still possible, but that's the best you can do for now.

DC penalties are fine, this game is a mess without them.
It's rare that taking the game hostage happens and it's reportable when it does, if you can be bothered to put the evidence together and whether they'll be punished or not is another matter.

If he placed you there it would mean you either was AFK since you could have just went out after he dropped you or you linda wanted it to happen..
Anyway, i hope you reported him.

from what i have seen reports do absolutely nothing. Since Tru3 lost his FW status he has gone against a lot of cheaters and exploiters. He reports them and a few days later he comes across the exact same accounts again, If a popular streamers reports mean absolutely nothing my report will definitely mean nothing.
I agree DC is lame when the match isnt going your way and I understand that's why the DC penalty is in but at the same time we know players in the DBD community for whatever reason are very sadistic and toxic but in situations like this it is quite yikes that myself or anyone who experiences this has to get a punishment.

I feel like a good fix to this would be lose collision if a survivor gets crows, and then give collision back after a few seconds when they move.

I knew the match was over so I simply allowed them to down me so I can move onto the next game, he started to drop me then on the last drop dropped me in the corner. I assumed at first they wanted my Med Kit as killers love offerings right? Clearly this isnt the case xD

Does seem a coincidence most the toxic players all of a sudden have the world icon since the release on Epic and with the world icon you cant report them via Steam

If it ever happens again, you can just run past him once you dropped free since there wont be a hitbox for some seconds.

It's not so much that they don't ban players, it's just that it takes them a long time to do so. Tickets take weeks, if not a full month to be processed, if what I've observed is correct.

Just remove collision between killer and survivor after five seconds, problem solved. Five seconds is plenty of time for a killer to get their free hit/use their power, etc. Also between survivors.
Shouldn't need to report this stupidity every time it happens, especially considering the report will not even be looked at.

DC penalties are necessary but they definitely should fix this. Maybe make it where if the killer stands still for like 10 seconds, they completely lose collision.

Maybe he was carrying you over there to show you a totem then his controller died.....probably not but my controller only dies during DBD games so it can happen.

Tru3 doesnt actively report through the report form. The report form is the fastest way to get hackers banned, exploiters is a bit of a different story, since not all exploits are bannable, especially not since a lot of people play the game for fun rather than for strictly winning and standing on top of a rock that you normally cannot stand on isnt really an exploit worthy of banning(especially not since killers can reach anywhere that a survivor can). They'd have to be gamebreaking exploits to be considered definitely bannable.
It's quite rare for a survivor exploit to truly have a massive negative effect. The last one that truly broke the game was multiple people running Breakdown on purpose. But if 1 survivor ran it, it was actually fine. Would you as a developer ban that survivor who used the perk? Not really. Would you (temp-)ban a SWF using the perk more than once? Definitely.
Survivor exploits dont really get to be game breaking unless 2 or more survivors do it together, killer exploits are very easily gamebreaking.

I agree with you but this process is why most people don't bother - Some ######### waste X amount of our time and now we need to go through the extra effort of reporting them by
- Recording a video
- Uploading video to external website
- Using external website outside of Dead by Daylight ensuring we grab both their player id / steam account ID and video footage for a single ticket along with other information.
I wish BHVR would streamline this reporting process a bit - For example
You report someone in game and a ticket automatically opens that you can manage outside of the game - It would take away a lot of the hassle of dealing with bullshit. I still believe AFK crows should give survivors soft collisions to where they can push through killers slowly but nah BHVR won't do that. Doing that would eliminate the need to report people for this as there would be no more player to player hostage situations like this without exploits.
I feel for you OP.
And yeah - My post is a little off topic but seeing this ######### makes me mad. One because I know OP had to waste time reporting if they chose to and the fact that BHVR hasn't eliminated this issue.

To make it a bit more immersive I’d rather they implement an animation of the survivor pushing the killer out of the way when the killer doesn’t move for 20 seconds. 10 seconds is too short. Maybe their cat jumped up on their keyboard for pets.
