Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Blood Warden is such a useless perk. Why do you use it? Also Ruin is overrated

No one ever opens gate until all the survivors are safe. I'm surprised to see some killer main streamers run this and 9/10 times the perk goes to waste. The 1/10 goes into the "epic blood warden xDD" compilation on youtube of course, and it just seems like survivors don't fall for this bait anymore.

Side note: Ruin is a godawful perk, whenever I load into a match, I can immediately find where the ruin totem is and cleanse it in under a minute of the match starting.

I cringe when killers waste a perk slot for a Hex that's so unreliable. Unless of course it's midwich, totem spawns on that map are busted as hell for survivors, and there's only 1 guaranteed totem spawn and I'm sure you all know which one I'm on about.

Ruin is complete trash, I've dropped it for my new love Pain Resonance

I used Blood Warden A LOT back when the EGC didn't exist. As long as you played your cards right, you were guaranteed to get at least some value out of it.

Now...it is indeed a bit more difficult to use.

I love Ruin with PR and Pentimento. Guaranteed slowdown from PR/Ruin or if Ruin gets cleansed, I get a Pentimento stack

dropped ruin a long time ago. I only use it if I plan to go to midwich, or in some cases, lery's, as these two maps are undoubtedly the harder maps to spot hexes. no more living in fear of ruin gone in 15 seconds sheesh

I get quite a lot of value out from Blood Warden, I say a good 60% of the time that survivors reach Endgame I get some use out of it, just have to play your cards right

Yeah, Ruin and Pop is outdated now. RIP. Plaything, Pentimento, and Deadlock is the new. No way Out>BW.

it's a real shame two out of those three perks are locked behind an NFT killer sigh

Blood Warden it's just a fun perk. As you said yourself, the only purpose of it is getting those BW compilations. I don't think anyone genuily runs it thinking it's a strong perk.

Agree on Ruin being overrated. It's only decent if you make a full build around it with Undying, Haunted and Thrill.

The era of Ruin is gone.

Also Blood warden is a niche perk, dont run it for value, run it just for possible memes

As also Killer Player it always hurts me if i spwan in front of a Hex Totem and cleanse it right away. Happens often.

So? Who ######### cares buy him does it affect your personal life? I’m not forcing, you do what you want but something so stupid on the internet shouldn’t discourage you

I try slugging someone and wait for a gate to open and then hook, but that doesn’t work sometimes cause survivors know I got BW.

    This

Especially when the Bully SWF Squad F's around and then they get to find out (that Bloodwarden is here!)

That's basically the reason I run it. It doesn't do anything for 90% of my matches but the 10% where it punishes cocky jerks being cocky jerks is so worth running 3 perks in a match

I've got too much morals to support such a thing, sorry.

It kinda doesn’t matter one person not buying dlc will not hurt a company. One person not buying DLC=99,999 others have bought it we will never take them down by not spending cause almost 70.4% of the player base is casuals

Got a lot of value on Ruin, Pentimento, Pain resonance and Plaything actually.

Ruin if you want to gamble and get that passive regression, I also found it to be a good risk with it getting cleansed more often than blessed so Pentimento immediately gets value out of it most of the time. I don't recommend the build if you're not a mobility killer though and not applying constant pressure then You're better off running builds with an entity blocker like dead lock or corrupt.

Well do you run blood warden with noed fire up and Rancor. That pretty much guarantees 2 kills as spirit

Ruin is so sensitive. I usually lose it so fast. The new scourge hook is MUCH better imo.

9/10 times blood warden won't see any action but when it does. It is epic!!!!!

Blood Warden itself is bad, but combined with noed and other endgame perk like No Way Out or Remember Me is very satisfactory when works (and prepare for the rage in the chat).
