As a killer if you think about it...
I like playing killer and honestly something I love is that as a killer even if you lose you still win. Not only do you play into the "hope" aspect of the entity you're also fighting a battle of attrition. The survivors can never really win, it's only a matter of time...

Good way of looking at it! In actuality it's a healthy way of seeing things in game. Perhaps keeping in character on the occassions during post-game chat where the select few start throwing insults could also help? Afterall, if someone is irritated enough at you to BM in chat, some of their hope has effectively been taken.

Only if you like to role play reality is often disappointing. You're not really getting the one up over anybody lol.

There's only 2 win conditions in this game.
1) survivor(s) die on hook
2) survivor(s) trash talk in end game chat, even if they escaped.
If you get both in one game, that's a double pip, my friend.

I had a DC waited for like 10min to the end game to threw salt on me. That was triple pip.

Great mindset to have....you play better when you dont care about losing (at least i do). I play to win with double digit hooks and what i did was if i dont get a 3k or better I get to change my outfit. Win stay in the winning outfit lose get some new drip. Im sitting here hoping i lose because i have been on same outfit for days. Team i just played almost pulled it off but that one survivor just had to cleanse her plaything totem.

Love the outfit thing, when I play blight I switch between cosmetics depending on if I lost or won too lol.
