Why should I use Pinhead special attack?
It’s hard to hit the survivors, even if I hit them they can easily get to a safe loop. So what’s the point of a power what actually slows me down?

You can turn most safe loops into unsafe loops when you both are already at the loop. Even if they put the pallet down being chained forces a slow vault making it easy and if they run away from the loop they wont have enough time to make it to another loop while being slowed down

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t usually miss with his chain attack, and I hardly ever play him. 🤷♂️ I hit with that chain attack way more often than I hit with Deathslinger or Huntress throws.

You should use it on people who are trying to solve the box. They are standing still and oblivious.

I hardly ever use his special. Unless like, they're at the exit gate taunting me.

If you use chatterers tooth, you can learn where the cube spawns for you after a few games. I can almost always run to it at the beginning of the match now. Picked it up this morning right off the bat and had 2 survs dc XD

It's...yeah. Not the best.
Mained Cenobite for a while. Chains are good when:
- Someone is about to drop a pallet.
- Someone is holding 'W'.
- People fail to juke them.
The main issue is that in any structure, they break almost immediately and that Pinhead can break them himself (why is this a thing?).
He needs a bit of help in his kit somewhere.

The hitbox on his possessed chain should be way more lenient, especially since it doesn't do anything half the time.

You run Original Pain and use it to add yet another thing that Survivors have to do to the list.

Addons complete the ability, more expensive ones like Engineer's Fang, Impaling wire make the chain hit more rewarding.

For now, I will just use this killer for daily or rift challenges. I have more fun playing Myers or Clown.

Don't play him. He's basically a nurse but way trash.

I would play him more often if he didn't break his own chains. In my opinion that is one buff that he desperately needs. His chains break far too easily against the environment as it is.

I think you are most of the time wrongly using the ability.
You have to open the portal or we is called in his proximity or literally on him.
usingChains to snipe on vast distances is more situational
