Pennywise (IT)
I love Pennywise!! so my answer is easy. My second option would be Alien as it would be fun to have another actual monster in the game like Demo.

Alien
I have begged since 2017. I will continue to beg. I just want my main man the xenomorph in the game
2 -
The Ring
The reason I main spirit is because she is the closest thing to Samara
2 -
Alien
Gotta go with Alien of course.
would not have anything against the others mentioned though. For some i dont see too much potential with their power but BHVR has delivered on that front pretty well.
I can see Pennywise having interesting mechanics especially, Deadlights, Ballons..

Alien
Definitely Xenomorph. That beast would be terrifying to face .. for at least the first few rounds.

Jason Voorhees (The Lawsuit is over.)
He is the definitive slasher.

Alien
The Xenomorph itself is honestly dead last in reasons why I'd want this property. Ripley as a survivor, a spaceship/space station as the map... those are the things I'd really want to see.

The Thing
The Thing does NOT need to be a mimic Killer, that is only half of what makes it terrifying.
What makes The Thing so scary is how it accumulates biomass and can become an ungodly obelisk of flesh and teeth.
It could start as a small disgusting head crab and throughout the match reach certain tiers to grow, and when it reaches it's final form it becomes an ungodly huge monster that plows through pallets and Survivors like no one else.

Alien
The Creeper doesn't deserve to be included in this, or any poll for that matter.
We support fictional monsters here in Dead By Daylight, not real ones.

I meant the Creeper as the killer, not Victor Salva lol.
But yeah, I can understand why. That old rat only served 15 months, he should've stayed there for a long time. 15 months was never enough. He was supposed to serve 3 years, which was kinda weird to begin with. And all that's why people protested against him making Jeepers Creepers 3, which wasn't really that good anyway.
It's likely The Creeper won't come anyway. Some people don't want to promote this guy's work, and we all know why. Maybe when he's dead they will? Or maybe they'll feel like it's involuntary support. Again, I can understand that. Victor Salva can rot in Hell for all I care. The new Jeepers Creepers movie, he will not be involved in it. A lot of people like to separate the art from the perverted artist. It's the case for Jeepers Creepers and the Hellraiser movies by Harvey Weinstien, which I'M GLAD he's gone. His face looks like a bulldog.
I read on the internet that after he got out of jail, that's when he made Jeepers Creepers. I hope that guy gets a heart attack from a Big Mac... These people in Hollywood are weird.
So yeah, if you don't want The Creeper, I can respect that and I thank you for viewing this poll.
If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go spray my phone with holy water now. Salva looks like Weinstien had a kid with Brian Stelter.

I can also see why no one voted for him. Again. No one wants to support this guy's work. I just like the movie for the Creeper alone.
Definitely not Salva. He's The Super Creeper.

Any of the killers from Fear Street.

Alien
I get that- and I know that the people who want the Creeper generally speaking aren't trying to support Victor Salva.
That being said, it's almost an "actions speak louder than words" situation and the potential inclusion of the Creeper straddles such an intensely grey line (dark grey I would say) that there really is no room to be vague about how we should treat those who indulge in such vile and immoral behavior.
Especially for a company like BHVR- you have to recognize that companies aren't people and they can't exactly vindicate and absolve themselves with mere words. Companies are judged by their actions and by their practice, that's why people intensely scrutinized BHVR for their potential involvement in some shady NFT business recently. Though as it turned out it was the license holders of Pinhead who did that, not BHVR. (The license agreement operates both ways: BHVR gets the rights to the character for their appearance in game- but the license holders also get to use the model that they create in BHVR for their own purposes).
I also just don't believe in this idea of "separating the art from the artist" or at the very least I believe such an idea is not all-encompassing and it holds far less weight than the people who take stock in it think it does. It directly infringes on this idea that nearly all creative works people make are in some way autobiographical- they say this most about writers. That putting pen to paper and the writing of a story is in itself an act of externalizing your personal collection of experiences and perceptions of the world, and thus all writing is influenced by it. Regardless of whether it's a conscious act or not, and such is the way of nearly any other artistic action: whether that's a painting, a sculpture, or a film.
So from this perspective, I find that the idea of "separating the art from the artist" is, in layman's terms: a huge heaping pile of horseshit.
As far as Jeepers Creepers goes, it's not hidden knowledge that there are some predatory sexual themes that exist within those films, and even within the art itself they are embedded within the story as an intrinsic and inseparable part of it. Such that you can easily draw the line between the film and its director clear as day.
I haven't seen the film myself, but I've discussed the topic multiple times and done the research to learn and now know that this is true. Here's how one article explains it (far better than I could) based off a closer look of Jeepers Creepers 2:
"Salva is something worse: a confessed child molester whose sick, damnable pathos infects his work. ... The story of a demonic, trenchcoated man-bat who sniffs out and devours selected victims, the film itself surrounds a high-school basketball team ... [and] a few flags go up when the mostly male-adolescent cast begins sunbathing, urinating in front of each other, and referring to themselves in song as 'the fighting cocks.' ... Salva has something more horrific in mind, and--as evinced in the opening scene of the film, in which the Creeper stalks, abducts and, as we later learn, mutilates and munches on a small child--Salva's work has developed a consistent theme of gratuitous sexual violence towards young boys.
... Forgive and forget? No. Not while Salva still clings to a depraved and disgusting celluloid fantasy. His scary films aside, the horrors that this man inflicted on a 12-year-old boy will haunt that victim forever"
As much as I want to end it off on that quote- I find myself needing to reiterate: The Creeper doesn't deserve to be in this, or any poll- neither the community at large nor the developers of the game, want the Creeper in any capacity.

The Thing
The ultimate in Alien terror. Think the useless teammate mysteriously starts fixings the gen you think all is good look behind you all clear then the teammate begins to morph into a grotesque form. And the icons fluctuating on wether or not survivors are actually injured or not. From the Thing causing paranoia. Although it’d probably need more for SWF assistance but I got a whole mega chapter ready if behavior needs one

The Thing
A movie series about a monster ruined by a real life monster

You kinda prove a point there. And my mother kinda loved that movie, we've both found out through a video on Dead Meat, why Jeepers Creepers would not get a Kill Count. She kinda loved it a bit less now. Reading this, it kinda makes sense if you think about it, because it's a group of high-school boys and he eats those who are have the most fear, and he can smell it. He sniffs people for fear, and abducts them.
It makes you wish the first film wasn't made by Sex Offender Salva, and it's similar to him in that way. Jeepers Creepers: Reborn won't have Salva involved, but then again it would still be promoting his work. Maybe when he's dead we can enjoy them, but at the same time, what Sex Offender Salva did, it will probably scar this poor guy for life. Someone ought to pray for him or something.
There was this one teaser, it had a Scarecrow. It made me think "Oh, it's Jeepers Creepers!", but it turns out it wasn't. I guess this trailer looking back at it was a fake. In my mind, I think that if this movie about to be released, the devs would probably think of adding this character as an indirect support of Salva's work, and not add The Creeper anyway. Who wouldn't want a killer that can fly and dive bomb survivors, or at least lunges towards you wings out and throw things at you? If this wasn't made by Salva, The Creeper would've fit in like a glove, but at the same time, they'd probably tone him down too much. Like Nemesis.
I kind of believe that a lot of popular people these days are selfish and evil. I know who. They hang out in Hollywood and in politics. People like Harvey Weinstien, a certain person is good friends with him, I can't write a lot, mostly because this is a forum for a repetitive video game, and they track what you write. But yeah, people like Salva should remain in jail for the rest of their lives. I cared more about the movie than people like Salva who've produced it. There's only one producer in my life I actually thought was cool was James Wan and Jason Blum. The Purge, The Conjuring Series, Insidious, Sinister, and Saw are the best horror films made. Other than those guys, there's no one else. But, you never know what kind of secrets they may hide. Until they get caught doing something wrong. That's the thing about Hollywood. There's likely a ton of shady stuff there and it seems very obvious. But yeah, I respect how you see it. People like Salva don't really deserve the money for their work. He more than likely made Jeepers Creepers right after getting out of jail. Probably for some ungodly fantasy of his. You never know what goes on in his mind or anyone else's.

Too true, too true. He made it right when he got out of jail too.

The Ring
Yeah from one survey person to the other I would reccomend avoiding puting jeepers creepers into your polls

Yeah I just found out. Screw Victor Salva.

Candyman
I've wanted Candyman for forever
Preferably with voice lines that don't get removed after the PTB and aren't reduced to an innuendo

First of all I picked it cause out looks like they put the lawsuit is over as the movie name and why are people writing essays

Candyman
I've never seen the movie, but so many people have been asking to see this dude in the game that I just kinda wanna see what all the hype is about.

The Thing
The Thing provides far more interesting gameplay, by giving the game a "TF2 Spy" dynamic. Look like the team's Nea until you get close then it splits apart into a body horror nightmare. Plus, it'd encourage teams to stay grouped up so they can't be deceived by an approaching team mate (which helps slow down the 'everybody on a gen' default rush strat)
As for the Alien... I feel like Twins was ORIGINALLY supposed to be a Xenomorph. You lay the egg, which spawns a Facehugger. The facehugger scrambles about rapidly and eventually pounces on the survivor. If they were already injured, it matures into a Chestburster, to down them and keep going.
But then, I'm also pretty sure the Artist was supposed to be a Candyman killer. She summons crows but they could've easily been bees. Sends them out to locate people and if they get hit once, they swarm. Hit twice and they start stinging like crazy. And bees can actually hover in place, unlike a flock of crows. Plus, her inky-arm is basically just the crowbar in the arm stump Candyman has.

Candyman
I would love to see all of these come to the game eventually, say for maybe the Grudge and the Thing. Kayako just doesn't really interest me, but I guess it'd be neat to have her for the sake of pleasing those that want her, but the Thing kinda gets me. I love the Thing, both the movie and the monster, but most any power idea I can come up with just doesn't work or just doesn't feel like The Thing. The Thing is a slow-burn about tension and suspicion where no one can be trusted and anyone can die at any time. None of those really work in Dead by Daylight, so I'm at a loss. I would love to see it happen, but I don't know if Behavior could get it right.
My personal pick, though, is for Daniel Robitaille. The Candyman. All the killers here have amazing power potential and come from great source material, but Candyman comes from a movie that holds such a special place in horror history. This movie had so much heart, so much meaning, and so much feeling that no slasher, to date, has ever hit for me. And as for the Candyman himself, he's one of the most interesting slashers ever made. I would love to see how Behavior would handle such a fascinating character as Candyman.
