The Artist feels weak

Her ability feels weak on maps like the Swamp or Silent Hill, its also not very pressuring

Besides from the Exhaustion one, her addons are basically useless. They give little and take too much away, or they're just not worth using at all

And worst of all, her ability recharge is way too slow. Even with the Festering Carrion addon and the Thick Tar addon, survivors can still repel the crows swarming them before the ability is recharged enough for you can shoot a crow at them

When's the midchapter patch, which hopefully will include Artist buffs?

Her power is more effective purely for tracking and forcing a survivor away from a strong loop than it actually is for downing or injuring people. She definitely will not be getting buffs and I see her getting nerfed cause she's "boring" and "unfun" for the survivors

Survivors getting into lockers is what hurts Artist. Swarm gone instantly.

    This.

She has some add ons to help but yes her recharge is slow. However unless you are send crows to scout gens you should not use them all at once mid chase. Use 1 or 2 and it recharges faster. Block a couple of exits they can take from the loop and physically go to the spot you didnt block with crows. If they leave loop your prepared and if they run from you around the loop bang em with the crow you placed. Hope i said this in a way you understand.

I have been using her exclusively since release and she takes some learning but worth it.

Damn. I really thought this killer will end up being decent.

I didn't try her myself but from what I have seen vsing her she doesn't seem that much of a threat like some other killers. People either didn't figure her out or I dunno. I like what Dowsey did with one crow at the time but even that feels eeeh.

Had a match against crazy blight few hours ago and guy slugged us to death quick enough. I never felt so destroyed in my life lmao even vsing nurse.

I wanted artist to be able to do stuff like that. We will see.

For instance I had a survivor drop shack pallet ( he inside shack me outside) so i placed a crow at dropped pallet, then placed one at vault and proceeded to the only exit left. He decided not to run out of shack when i placed crows and ran towards palket as i came to the open door....downed by crows. His best bet was to bolt out the door when i placed the crows but he still wouldnt of had much distance since i was rotating towards that exit. If you on xbox i can send the clip.

Maybe she's not useless, but i do feel she could be better in some way

She's not useless but she's not great. To me, she's similar to Legion. Has an ability but isn't that good.

I'm having no problems using her. The fact that she's a 115 gives her more flexibility than most other ranged killers when it comes to chases, and she has a much longer attack range than semi-ranged killers like PH or Nemesis. She's able to find survivors with ease, and she zones the hell out of people. If you don't want to deal with a loop, it's trivial to either push a survivor out of it or get a health state. If survivors try overmuch to deal with the birds, she's perfectly capable of running up to them and whacking them the old-fashioned way.

She's better on some maps than others, which is true of most killers, but they mostly hurt her long-distance tracking potential, not her ability in chase (excepting Haddonfield, where survivors constantly switch floors in chase.) She's not S-Tier, because she lacks mobility, but I'd give her a solid B or A in her current state. She takes skill to use her ability effectively, but if you're good at predicting survivor movements (which is a vital skill for any ranged killer), she can be pretty damn oppressive.

I don't feel like she is weak. She's not S tier like people believed, but she's like A tier. Great map pressure, a bit map dependent tho. Great 1v1, tho you get countered by ShiftW a bit. She's a great Killer with counters

Well said. Agree with everything you said. I have had lots of fun with her.

I am not a killer main but I've spent a lot of hours with the Artist because I found her fun to play and strong.

Easy to understand what to do, and I felt that I had the upper hand. Constant map pressure with the crows and quick chases when setting up correctly the traps.

If you're not patience with the Artist, it's game over.
