Billy just got shadownerfed?!
I just heard from a video of Tru3 someone from his chat saying Billy just got shadownerfed this patch.
Does anyone know how he got shadownerfed?

Ok, I just heard the nerf: after a chainsaw sprint Billy has no more acceleration, he gets stuck in place and recovers even more slow than the previous shadownerf he received 2/3 years ago where nobody said anything

This is mostly the case with his movement speed add-ons, now you just basically stop in place, it sucks.

Well, the acceleration only happened with movement speed add-ons, right? But now it doesn't. I haven't played Billy enough to tell you if his base kit got nerfed.

Bug =/= shadownerf. Report in the appropriate section and hope for the best.

Originally, there was a specification for acceleration afterthe Billy's Chainsaw Sprint (with double engravings) , But since the 5.4.0 update, that acceleration seems to be gone🙄
※It's a little hard to tell, but the one on the right side of the video is slower to get to the locker.
I was told that acceleration was removed as a bug fix, but there is no mention of it in the patch notes. The acceleration has been there since the time it was implemented, so if they call it a bug now...😥

Yeah because when I think of an example to use an unintentional nerf, my first thought is a bug the killer shipped with and was fixed later. Really supports the point there.

I thought this was mentioned in the patch notes? Either way, this is a fix for double engraving addons. That’s a great Hillbilly add on mix to lose consistently.

That's literally the whole point of my comment, That bugs can last for months that they are basically nerfs that'll be fixed AFTER MONTHS. That was the joke my guy

And you have so many examples but you chose one where the killer shipped like that from day one so it wasn't a nerf at all, because for something to be a nerf there must have been an original state to be nerfed.

Bro, it was literally unintentional though not to mention he still has jank hitboxes which have been a bug with blight since he shipped. Or we can talk about how Myers stalking was busted for over a year, then there's just the general bug of sound occlusion being bugged out for months at a time in various points of the game's lifespan or how people on the ground still sometimes don't make sound another bug that's been in the game for years or the legion vault bug that's been in the game for over a year, Billy's animation coming out of a sprint is I believe still borked as well or if this is the intended version then whoever animated it needs to go back to school to relearn animation which has been a problem since his rework I think. That enough examples for you?

I did report it in the bug report.
Not many people use Billy now, so not many people notice these changes.
For Billy users, this change is a significant nerf. I don't know if it's a bug or shadownerf, or what the truth is, but I hope my voice reaches the development people.

There was no mention of it in the 5.4.2update, but I'll look forward to it in the next update. I'll prepare another verification video when I have time.
