Weeping Angel Killer (Concept + Yea or Nay)
First off, I'm fully aware that The Artist got released today.
What would you think of a Weeping Angel (from Doctor Who). They are indisputably horror.
Here's my concept so far:
Power:
While no survivor is looking at you, you move at (insane) speed.
While a survivor is looking at you, you cannot move, but you can enter the ethereal world and plan a route. once a survivor "blinks" or looks away, you move to the planned route.
Blinking: whenever a survivor looks at you, they must begin making yellow glyph style skill checks, starting out large and getting smaller gradually until the skill check disappears. blinking turns their screen temporarily black, and they aren't counted as looking at you for a few seconds.
what'd think for perks?
theme wise, I'm thinking stuff related to electricity failing and stress.
also, here's a build for Spirit until playing as a weeping angel is an option:
Addons:
Bonsai Tree (of course)
(Free Space)
Perks:
Overwhelming Presence/Franklins
Surge (jolt)
Stealth Perk of your choice (M & A is probably the most fitting due to its visuals)
(Free Space)

Honestly I think this would be an extremely big breath of fresh life into the game but only if this concept is applied. The mechanics of having to look at a killer is very interesting while facing immediate danger when they're not in sight. Without proper mechanics put in place however the only worry goes into survivors heavily abusing the machanic and basically taking the killer hostage while also making sure the killer isn't too blindingly powerful when out of sight.
Another note would be that it may or may not disregard regular game mechanics but technically Nurse and now The Artist already do that...

i just think a part of her power should make it so the screen slowly closes in black every once in a while.

This is a concept I made back in 2018, and updated in 2019, and it was partly inspired by the Weeping Angels, and how they play red-light, green-light with their victims. This also features the body swapping/transitioning perspectives mechanic long before the devs created the twins, and unlike them, I also took time to address how hook camping with this killer would be be highly unlikely if not impossible (the RLGL mechanic).
Give it a read if you have the time, or at least take a gander at the TL;DR section so you get the idea of it.

oh, I thought I incorporated that into the "blink" thing...
maybe that mechanic could be incorporated as a perk?
