when pyramid head first came out, i originally thought it was supposed to apply torment, because the m2 attack, looked identical/similar to the trails.

True, it really should apply Torment. At the very least replace one of the worthless add ons he has to do it.

at the very least his m2 should fire a trail. that way, if survivors run into the trail after being hit they get tormented, but they can still avoid it.

I'd like to see it work like Trickster; a Punishment will build up laceration and a quick follow up hit will Torment you.
This could be a good way to encourage good use of Punishment. In the chase it's absolutely worthless but it's a reward that will pay off later.

What I wish is the cage activating hook perks if I could cage when ever I wanted.

With an add-on, sure, I can see that.
Without I'm not so sure. Why even bother laying out trails at that point?

It'd be a hell of a lot better than applying Hemorrhage, of all the purple addon things.
I think this would be pretty nice. It still doesn't make Torment inevitable, since his M2 is pretty easy to dodge as far as attacks go and you can often force an M1 if you really don't want to be caged.
