XBOX ONE X - Frequent crashing and freezing.
I just recieved an 11minute ban because dead by daylight crashed on my xbox one x.
Dead by Daylight shouldnt have 10minute bans.
I never DC from games intentionally, but my xbox one x and xbox series x crash dead by daylight frequent enough for me to recieve a 11minute ban, both consoles have network issues when it comes to dead by daylight and dead by daylight crashes and freezes.
Obviously having players disconnect sucks but it's frustrating enough having to deal with the bs of xbox one x and series x crashing when playing dead by daylight.

So my ban just finished and my game just froze.

My xbox one started crashing and dc'd after I had a match with a blatant hacker yesterday, when the match started my killer was sliding and flying around. After about 90 seconds or so I got control and found the hacker who was doing hook animations etc. I thought I'd just wait out the match but it dc'd soon after. When I restarted it the console black screened and went slow as hell, nothing would load. In the end I had to perform a factory reset, luckily they have the option to preserve your installed games whilst clearing everything else. It worked and has been fine since.

I did one a couple weeks ago and I just got System error:200 000000EF 00000000 so I'll might have to do just that. It fixes it for a while but it has never stayed away for me sadly. When it happens it feels as though it happens more often than it probably does, likely because of the frustration.

I am now up to over a 15minute ban and its happened several times since posting, twice today out of three matches. It happens more frequently when I play killer but it happens both sides. Remove the DC penalty from xbox or lower the time...

I frequently have problems with my Xbox disconnecting from host. I've tried resetting it, manually setting the network and a couple other things and nothing. My penalty is up to 28 minutes.

Somehow my Xbox1x hasn't been giving me your particular issues thankfully, and I haven't had to factory reset it, yet. At least anyone having similar problems will know what to try.

I own the series x and while it's true it doesn't crash nearly as frequently and it is very smooth when it works; the issue with dead by daylight crashing still happens. If the xbox one x has so much issues I'd hate to have to deal with my old xbox one s, although I don't recall having crashing on that system, even though that was ages ago.
Upgrading to series x isn't necessarily a fix. I'll try and make notes of issues on that platform once im back home, in the meantime my xbox one x will have to do, I'm just trying to do what I can, like clearing cache and hard resetting etc.

Same, I played two matches and my first match went okay, my second Match froze and unfroze midway through and then froze after I went through the gate and stuttered a bunch and then dbd crashed. It's every other game these past couple of days.

So after dead by daylight crashed I hard reset my console to clear the cash and I got system error E208 00000003 00000000...Dead by Daylight seems to be the only game that messes with my system like this. I honestly deserve a few million bloodpoint codes because Iv lost 10s of millions at this point. Although that won't happen so hopefully ANOTHER factory reset will fix the frequency. I would love to play more than two games without having to worry.
Will update what happens after I download dead by daylight.

So I did a full factory reset.
Downloaded dead by daylight and dlc exclusively and played a match. At the end of the match I decided I'd take a game clip which I frequently do; my game froze and now is froze loading out until the game finally crashed.
On the bright side dead by daylight is loading back up without me having to power cycle.

The game clip didn't even record but on the bright side this time my 77k bp was still awarded. Plus no ban because it was as I was loading out. Still dead by daylight is to choppy to take a clip?

So I tried loading into two matches with friends on survivor, one Match froze before the lobby and the other froze loading in and told my friend I dc and then after 5minutes it shows Disconnected from Host. Xbox one x is the most advanced last gen and while it's not my series x the amount of issues it's having playing dbd is remarkable. Im loading into my third game as I type this out...im now surprised when it loads.

I'm going to stop updating as frequently because I feel as though I'm just repeating the same information. So early today I did a fresh factory reset. All games and content was also removed during this factory reset. I downloaded dead by daylight and addons. I played some killer games; my first match crashed at the end when I tried to capture a game clip. I proceeded to play a couple more games as killer and all went well. My friend invited me to a game and loading into the pregame lobby my game froze. We tried again and it loads into lobby and we ready up and then it shows I disconnect from Host, it shows me killer dc and I escaped. Then we try again and it works, but then we load out and ready up and we load into a match just to have it load for a while and then say I Disconnected to my friend but shows me I escaped and killer dc.
I'm currently sitting in a killer lobby, I'm going to turn crossplay off to see if that makes a difference.

I played a match with crossplay off and I still had latency issues but I didn't crash, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Since the wait time was way longer I decided I'd play a game with it back on, my game loads in the lobby and then says no network connection after the match starts and offerings screen pops...my internet never cut out.

I played survivor and even killer games for the past 2 or 3 weeks with no game crashes on my series x.
I did another factory reset, reinstalled only dead by daylight and chapters, cleared Mac adress and all the other quick tips Microsoft recommends.
I also decided to avoid playing as myers because tiering up and hitting and downing survivors too fast and causing a bunch of status effects and game interactions such as unhooks while I'm downing someone was causing too much load for my xbox one x.
crashes wasted many sacerficial cakes on mainly myers.
I thought I was avoiding frequent game crashes by avoiding playing myers, but now hag...I teleport too a trap and down someone I just hit and my xbox freezes and dead by daylight crashes.
Once I am back to playing on my series x I'll get to have a smoother experince overall but xbox one x shouldn't be crashing because of latency issues.
If it doesn't crash on survivor but occasional latency spikes and it crashes while playing myers frequently or three weeks later playing hag. I instantly teleport then hit and it registers then crash...do I need to avoid teleporting too quickly as hag or getting tier three as frequently. There is something to do with server connection it feels like when it's dead by daylight that freezes and crashes under specific circumstances.
I fear playing killer because the servers can't handle me💀 (I also don't like bans when my game crashes and I lose bloodpoints and pips and sacerfical cakes and bloody parties).

Game just froze and crashed playing against pyrimid head. I swear it has to do with servers being able to handle load. NOED was active I was being unhooked and the person had BT and Pheah was going to the gate to pick someone up. My xbox didn't crash just my game froze when the person was mid unhook, then game crashed.
Game crashes are happening on survivor too. It's more frequent on killer by far. Once yesterday night on Hag and Once Tonight as survivor...both games I lose my bloody parties which are usually present when the crashes happen so maybe they add server load too.
Iv lost countless double BP offering. Millions in bp since the 4th year aniversery. The crashes never stop, they just fade in and out as updates pass by.

I remained in my xbox party during this freeze aswell. There wasn't even a loud screech this time.
