New Killer: The Distortionist

Overview: An omnipresent Killer, able to use his immense speed in order to pressure multiple places nearly simultaneously. His personal perks allow him to control which options Survivors can make at all times.

Appearance: A man with white hair and bright red eyes. Base cosmetic is a bloody white shirt and black vest, along with black pants. Weapon is a bat.

Speed: 115% (4.6 m/s)

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Height: Tall

Primary Power: Mirror World

7 mirrors spawn throughout the map, circling around the center. The spawns are random, but limited to said circle (and they won't spawn within 32 meters of each other if possible). The Distortionist can see the auras of all mirrors in white. The Distortionist can walk through these mirrors as if they were doorways, leading to a "mirror dimension".

This mirror dimension is the same as the base map, but while in the mirror dimension all Survivors are invisible to the Distortionist. The Distortionist can still see auras and Killer Instinct. Survivors can see a translucent, reflective form of the Distortionist while he's in the mirror dimension, however. While in the mirror dimension, the Distortionist is Undetectable. Survivors can also see him clearly through the mirrors around the map, but the reverse is also true for the Distortionist.

While in the mirror dimension for over 5 seconds, the Distortionist begins to move at 230% speed, and can break pallets and breakable walls twice as fast. Holding CTRL for 2 seconds will have the Distortionist return to the regular world, during which time the Distortionist slows to 80% speed, with his translucent form losing its reflective properties. This can be done regardless of position in comparison to a mirror. After those 2 seconds, he moves at 80% speed before slowly speeding up to 115% over the course of 3 seconds. Walking back through a mirror does not suffer such penalty, instead slowly going from 230% to 115% over the course of 10 seconds.

Survivors can break mirrors with a small puzzle to complete beforehand. Breaking a mirror prevents the Distortionist from using it. The Distortionist can also break mirrors by hitting them with a basic attack.

When all 7 mirrors are broken, The Distortionist's secondary power activates.

Secondary Power: Mirror Demon

Once Mirror Demon activates, 1 mirror will automatically repair itself every 30 seconds until all of them are repaired.

While Mirror Demon is active, the Distortionist's appearance changes. This change lasts a total of 60 seconds. Illusions of the Distortionist will randomly appear walking in one direction before disappearing.

Holding m2 will have the Distortionist charge a secondary attack. This attack breaks pallets on contact, and immediately downs Survivors regardless of health state. It takes 1.5 seconds to initiate, and lasts a total of 0.7 seconds moving at the same speed as a base lunge. Turning is slightly restricted while in use. This attack being charged is signaled by the Distortionist raising two hand mirrors over his head, before lunging forwards and slamming them into the ground.

Add-ons
  • Increases the number of the mirrors on the map by 1/2. Decreases the number of mirrors that must be broken in order to activate Mirror Demon by 1/2.
  • Increases the Distortionist's speed by 5/10/15% while in the mirror dimension.
  • Increases the time it takes to return to normal speed after exiting the mirror dimension through a mirror by 1/2/3 seconds.
  • Increases the speed of breaking objects while in the mirror world by 24/28/32%.
  • Increases the time of the Distortionist's secondary attack by 0.03/0.06/0.09 seconds.
  • Increases the time the illusionary Distortionists last by 3/6/9 seconds.
Iridescent Add-ons
  • Iridescent Eye - Survivors within a 16 meter range infront of a mirror have their auras revealed. The Distortionist moves 30% slower while in the mirror dimension. It takes 3 less seconds for a mirror to repair during Mirror Demon.
  • Remnant of the Other Side - While carrying a Survivor, the Distortionist can enter the mirror dimension and put them on a mirrored hook. Survivors hooked in the mirror dimension cannot be unhooked, but instead must be freed by breaking the mirror closest to them (which is shown in a white aura to all Survivors). Instead of having to solve a puzzle to break a mirror, a Survivor must complete a 5 second channel. After being freed from a mirrored hook, the Survivor will appear in the non-mirrored version of the hook they were placed on.

Perks

Hex: Deplorable Perception

Once the first generator is completed, this Hex will appear on 1 random Dull Totem (if able), and 0/1/2 generators are blocked by the Entity. Each time a generator is completed, a generator is blocked. Each time a Survivor is unhooked, a generator is unblocked. Only 2 generators can be blocked at a time by this perk.

"What these people think I am, is what you really are." - The Distortionist

Hex: No Time

Each time a generator is completed, this perk gains 1 token and, if not already on a totem, will appear on a Dull Totem.

1 Token: Hook progress advances 10% faster.

2 Tokens: You can see the auras of all Survivors that are within 4 meters of another Survivor.

3 Tokens: All injured Survivors are Broken.

Tokens are lost when this Hex is cleansed.

"It's unfair, how you portrayed me." - The Distortionist

Scourge Hook: Twist and Turn

At the start of a Trial, 4 random hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks. The auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. While a Survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, all other Survivors see their aura on the other Scourge Hooks as well. Any non-hooked Survivor within 8/12/16 meters of a Scourge Hook, except a Scourge Hook a Survivor is hooked on, are marked with Killer Instinct.

"You need to stop talking back like that." - The Distortionist

New Survivor: Hikari

Gender: Female

Eye Color: Yellow

Hair Color: Blonde

Overview: Hikari is always on high alert, with her personal perks allowing her to keep herself and other Survivors out of danger for as long as possible.

Perks

Quiet Down

If a Survivor within 16 meters of you does an action that alerts the Killer with a loud noise notification, it will make no noise instead. This has a cooldown of 40/30/20 seconds.

"Keep your voice down."

Play Nice

For every 10 seconds that pass in a chase without dropping a pallet or blinding the Killer, this perk gains 1 token (max. 4/5/6). For each token, you vault pallets and windows 3% faster.

"You've been so kind recently." - The Distortionist

Exorcism

Increases your chances of becoming the Obsession. When another Survivor is hooked, this perk gains 1 token (max 3/4/5). When you unhook a Survivor, that Survivor gains 50% Haste for 1 second per token this perk has.

Thank you for reading this! Feedback and suggestions are appreciated! This is more of a character based chapter than usual, but hopefully that didn't mess with the overall design too much.
