Why didn’t Spirit get a meme bloodpoint add on?
Most strong killers have add ons that nerf a killer’s power while giving them extra bloodpoints. For example, Blight has the Placebo Tablet which reduces movement speed in rush by 15% and an extra 100% bloodpoints in deviousness.
I was expecting Spirit to get an add on like this in 5.3.0 but turns out I was in disappointment. Maybe an add on that decreases her activation charge speed or movement speed while giving extra bloodpoints would be good. I think add ons like this are pretty neat so why doesn’t Spirit have one?

Would have been fun to have a meme add-on which keeps her visible when she does the phase thing, although keep the same speed. Could be quite creepy having her charge at you from a distance with arms outstretched!

That's not even restricted to strong killers. Trapper, Trickster and Clown all have meme addons as well. They probably just forgot about it.
Edit: Huntress also didn't get one in her addon pass, which made me sadge.

I'm glad they didn't give her an addon like this to be honest, pretty much nobody uses them so they're a waste of a slot. I'd much rather bloodpoint addons be a funny cosmetic effect (like the Party Bottles) or a sidegrade (like Plague's Tablet Fragment).

Imagine a Huntress add-on where your hatches don't injure but just cause bleeding or something... Huntress mains would have a field day with that because it would create so many problems for Huntress

Wonder what kind of debuff Huntress would get from a meme add on. Maybe decrease in hatchet capacity? But Iri head already does that so not sure tbh.

I'd rather just have joke add-ons being fun/silly with no real downside like clown's Party Bottles.
Handicapping yourself really isn't all that interesting in a game like DbD due to its already overbearingly snowballing nature for both sides.
That being said creative joke add-ons are fun as long as they aren't detrimental(Party Bottles) or let you play an alternative play-style(Dream Pallets).
Edit: Or can just throw off survivors like Reverse Wraith can(Terror radius while cloaked + undetectable after uncloaking).

All meme addons should be removed in my opinion. They were an interesting idea, but since they don't allow you to exceed the 8k BP cap they are basically just worthless.
But the reality of the situation is that while killers are balanced around having addons, they are not balanced around having THOSE addons and they should be replaced with something that actually functions.

The only meme addon ideas I could come up with anyway would have been something like
- Make directional phase louder
- Slow Spirit to 166%
- That dust thing they were talking about

I think it might be a huntress' case that they can't think of that would make sense to be memey bloodpoint add-ons.
Unless they literally made it so that her hatchets don't do damage which I really don't see them doing. Because even with something like padded Jaws you can still grab people from those traps
