Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Shadowstep not really unless a bad map like RPD.

I think shadowstep is ok, annoying but not as unhealthy.

Shadow Step kills Nurse... she can blink to a survivor, but during her fatigue they literally disappear and she's got no way to track them. I've lost many a player like this... literally no clue where they go, especially when they're running Iron Will now too (which has no counter, so you can't use Stridor any more).

This is a pretty serious problem when I play with Spirit.

I played against a team that reblessed Shadow Step wherever they could to stop me from using my power.

I could not keep up with the chase and gens, i felt terrible.

I personally have come to really really hate boons. Do they affect me? Sometimes. Shadowstep really does ruin fun builds like wall hacks piggy, Scratched Mirror. Other than that I sometimes look track of survivors because of Shadowstep and CoH just completely ruins any pressure I have. But otherwise nah I can follow the blood and footsteps.

Do they affect me? Not really unless I want to do something fun and less stressful but boons even ruin just chill builds, so.

On any indoor map or any map with a strong main structure that has a totem spot it can be a problem. Most main structures are strong and have a totem spot.

So it has the potential to be really strong in a lot of scenarios, it just depends on the survivors using it well. A totem on a random corner isn't gonna help much with SS.

Also kinda depends on the killer build, if it has a lot of aura reading it can mess it up.

On a map like shelter woods its trash though, but that's also the minority of maps.
