PINHEAD COMPLETELY USELESS AGAINST TO HI RANK SURVIVORS.

I'm a main killer player. Today i played against to pinhead and completely useless. He can't touch to me with Chains completely dodgable easily. World pain chanis easily dodgable. They can't touch to you if you move.


In the meantime i'm play today pinhead as killer, and i can tell this : comletely useless in hi rank.

1- Walking speed too slow

2-Worlpain chains completely useless

3-Never you can't toucj to survivors with chains , in the meantime i'm use ultra rare cosmetics and nobody don't use cube and after 2 min, 3 gen was completed.

4- Need to many revise on the maps, because have many corner and pinhead chains completely useless in closed area like house, pig's map and etc..


You have to play like moron without any ability.

    He was fine as is with pre-nerf Engineer's Fang and pre-nerf Larry's Remains, but they nerfed that. So now he's not fine and needs to be buffed again.

    He's weird.

    His kit is just too difficult for new players to deal with, but he's rough in higher MMRs. Too much of his strength came from addons, but most of them got destroyed.

    I still play him a fair bit and while he struggles now, I still do okay. A few tricks:

    • Aim the chain portal on top of the survivor you want to hit, and send your chain at their feet. This hits far more often.
    • He's really bad indoors. Pray you don't get sent to The Game - in my opinion this is one of his worst maps.
    • He can break his own chains (which is daft), so try to move between them.
    • Remember that the box will always spawn far from you and survivors. If you find the box, that's huge and gives you a ton of free pressure.
    • Engineer's Fang+Original Pain is ridiculously good. These two addons...I don't think I've ever gotten less than a 2k using them.

    Why bother playing a deleted character? Play something fun that has not been nerfed yet but probably will in future.

    Pinhead is totally fine. He just needs a lot of time to get the most out of him. Finally a Killer with slowdown where I can run less regression perks and more fun perks. I have tons of fun with this Killer and no complains.

    Sure, good survivors will dodge your chain and juggle the box but then again: Do not go that high on the MMR, play for more hooks and less kills and you will soon find yourself in a good MMR. Pinhead is not on the level of Nurse or Blight but that is not the point.

    For me he is a fun Killer, 9/10 would Killer again.

    How do you know what ImBrakingBike's mmr is? How does anyone? It's some invisible number that no one knows, I really wish people would stop using this as an excuse.

    I don't think he is really weak, I just hate how much RNG he is.

    His skill ceiling is super high, but he doesn't really get rewarded for it. His chains can be 100% useless on some loops, where it's easy to break them.

    Well, you can just replace it in your mind with "good" survivors.

    Before it was red rank and it's just high MMR instead, but both means same thing. Just good survivors, or at least decent.

    i'm not perfect but i know this : i'm not beginner, i have 3000+ hours. Pinhead need to some rewards after few chain attacks or chain's keeping time should be much than few sec.

    Clown more good than cenobite. Clown can use speed rush + slowing survivors with only bottle and bottle attack speed high than Cenobite's chains recharge rate...

    In the meantime Clown can use expose ability with headshot. Cenobite's chains only keeping survivors for 2 seconds and no rewards.

    He was never good against those kind of survivors anyway, but they managed to kill him even more.

    The nerf on box addons, especially the green ones, just completely killed his 1v4.

    Also Engineer's fang was never even an OP addon, it actually rewarded pinhead for correctly using his already insanely hard to aim power and you could not down with it anyway. The nerf of chain amount on the addon is fine, however the increased time to close the portal just makes his power completely useless unless you are getting an injure with the first hit. 3 chains are already too weak, 2 chains with extra time you can't move basically lose you distance.

    Without fang, pinhead is basic m1 killer that now can't even properly play around his box because of the green addons nerf. He was bad before, now he is honestly trash. And btw I barely ever used Fang, I only did when I wanted to test how good it actually is. I did like to play around the box which gave decent slowdown, but that is gone now and his base power is absolute garbage anyway.

    1- All killer's have got strong "main power". Look at this:


    a-) oni / 1 hit dying state / speed rush

    b- Clown / too strong bottles ; speed bottle + slower bottle + single hit bottle

    c- Micheal myers / 1 hit dying state + ultra low terror radius , too much speed at rate 3 / grab and kill with cocmetics

    d- Huntress ultra effective axes + single hit axes

    e- hag / teleport / body block trap /

    f- freddy : fake pallets / ultra effective + much speed than other killers + more long hit distance + big hitbox

    g- Executioner / hi can hit from everywhere + he can hit to 4 survivor

    h- deathslinger : hit from too far distance / he can grab with weapon behind of the window or palettes + 1 hit dying state with cosmetics.

    i: perfect traps and with cosmetics like 1 hit

    j- hillbilly / 1 hit dying state with chainsaw

    k: cannibal : 1 hit dying state

    l:wraith : invisibility / too much speed after cloak

    m- Ghostface / 1 hit dying state + invisibility


    All of them working perfectly and all ability concerned with your experience.


    Now we looking to pinhead:

    1- with chains 1.5 sec slow motion for survivors but still they can move. (if you can hit to survivors, if you miss ; survivor goes to too far from you.)

    2- World's pain chains / completely useless. If you move, there is no any risk

    That's all. Completely trash killer .

    How is clown “too strong” if pinhead does what clown does better in certain areas and has passive map control?

    Pinhead has the same issue as many M1 killers; against SWF, they're completely neutered

    But Pinhead is especially susceptible to this as his powers are downright useless so the only thing he really has going for him is chainhunt. You don't need to be Seal Team SWF to have one of you say "Hey, I'm going to go grab the box".

    If his normal powers weren't absolutely useless, then maybe he could at least somewhat compete but trying to hit survivors with the chains rarely ever goes well.

    His bottles do feel quite impactful, and both sides feel it.

    Not that it really matters, but at least his bottles have a tangible effect even if the result is just mass Pre dropping and tons of screaming with nothing to show for it.

    Pinhead more often than not is better off just not using his power except to shut down Dead Hard

    I disagree unless it’s a map with a ton of walls. The slowdown chains give can be enough to get hits at many loops. They can also be used for scouting and distrupting box solving

    Got three Pinheads today. Kinda fun but the box is really strong as i was the only one constantly going after it - SoloQ.

    Was a 30 Min Match but he got 3k at the end.

    Problem as always for low to mid survs he is strong, mid to high becoming weaker and weaker.

    I'm pretty awful at the game and the community knows it lol but Pinhead he's good maybe even overpowered slightly.
