Wierd problem with DBD
So DBD's been acting a little strange lately and I'm curious if I'm the only one experiencing this.
So the thing is that when I'm playing DBD it performs really well and my fps is usually around 100-120 but after I've played a couple of games it progressively starts to perform worse. After 1-2 games my fps hangs on around 90-100, after approximately 3 games my fps starts to dip below 80, and finally, after 5 or so matches my game becomes nearly unplayable and constantly dips to 50-60 fps. Lowering the graphics settings does not help me gain extra fps when the game starts to lag. Restarting the game seems to get my fps back to normal but doing so after every single match can get a little annoying at times.
Is anyone having similar issues? And if so do you know how to fix this?

Memory leak. Only real fix is to quit and reload the game every 5 or so games, or lock yourself to 60.

Is my software or hardware the issue here or is it the game?

Software issue. I know I avoid it by capping myself to 60fps, helps my monitor too so I don't need to overclock it, and if it gets too jerky I restart (but thankfully that doesn't happen much).
Happens on other platforms too; I think Stadia is the only one immune due to streaming it (maybe GeForce Now??).

Since the Christmas patch, I've been having fps issues and have had to turn on the auto adjuster. No idea what causes it, but I suspect it's the new Nvidia drivers.

Does turning the auto adjuster help? I tried lowering my graphic settings and it doesn't help the situation at all.
Really hope they will fix this issue ASAP because it's extremely annoying and can make the game borderline unplayable
