Dear Killer mains, please write something constructive instead of constantly crying...
I'm tired of seeing killers cry every time I'm on this site. Enough with crying and start constructively jotting down points and factors that could make the role better.
And PLEASE for the love of god, stop saying that the side needs to be "fun". If killers find something "fun" then the survivors would probably feel the opposite, vice versa.
Make it "balanced" or "fair". I'm tired of seeing "oh, playing killer is unfun." BS.
And if you still don't get why "fun" can't be a medium for good balancing, then watch this:

"Fun" is COMPLETELY subjective. Some people can call Cenobite unfun, but he's completely balanced.
You don't need to nerf/buff something from a subjective POV. You need to look at it objectively.

Not picking sides, but the whole reason Freddy was nerfed awhile back was because he wasn't fun to face which was a common complaint by survivors.

Sometimes the 'feel' of a game is just as important as the numbers.
Killers can do well sometimes, but it often requires a playstyle that isn't fun for anyone. Camping, slugging etc.
And there have been endless threads of constructive feedback and suggestions from killer players - which are inevitably met with responses exactly like this. 'Stop whining', 'OMG another crying killer thread', 'CoH is fine l2p', 'nobody is forcing you to play x killer' etc.
You aren't helping. Complaining about complaining is worse than simple complaining, because it provides no feedback about the game itself - it's just poking at people who are frustrated.

Saw this ages ago and mentally switched off when he started going on about oni and plague being fair and well designed killers. They may be the ideal killer design, but they are far from viable at decent ranks in the current state of the game.

I've played plenty of matches as a solo survivor where the killer literally stomped my entire team within the first two gens. I've also had matches where the killer could barely get one hook the entire match.
The prior player would've had a blast while the latter would've come to the forums, log in and create another "Killers are so unfun now" post.
What I'm saying is that, having mood swings by feeling annoyed and venting here at the forums is worthless effort. At least put the time and effort to speak out on the problems that killers are generally facing instead of boo hooing 24/7.
I'm glad that killers made constructive posts before, but the most recent ones... holy moly...

What I'm getting is that you believe viability worths more than fairness then, huh.
That's ironic, cuz I'm constantly seeing posts regarding how survivors are always running the most viable perk, Dead Hard and yet the killers are always complaining about how it's unfair.

Would they have had a blast? I know I wouldn't. Stomping isn't all that much more fun than getting stomped. I'm sure they are thinking something along the lines of 'SBMM, what are you?'.
When one side of your game is making the majority of 'this isn't fun' threads on your forums, that probably indicates that something is off about your game.
Beyond this, when you type out a huge thread of detailed feedback and get told 'cry moar', then you aren't going to bother putting the effort in next time.

Dead Hard is prima facie unfair. It was the most overrepresented survivor perk by a mile, and then it got a hefty 'fix' (see: buff). It eats killer powers and constantly feeds the killer false information, while also being a defacto third health state.
Well done for making my exact point for me.

So... you state that stomping/getting stomped doesn't bring out the fun in you when playing DBD... Doesn't that reinforce my idea then?
That having an imbalanced game (where one side stomps the other) is wrong and that balance/fairness is the key to DBD's success? Leave the "fun" out? If we are indeed on the same page then I don't understand your comments regarding this issue at hand.
FYI: I never told a single killer to "cry more". I said bring good evidence and at least some logic to discuss the topic.

Strip everyone down to nothing and survivors still have the edge over most of the killer cast. There are deep rooted issues with the core of this game that the developers need to address.
They would be fair in a well balanced game. The problem is that this is not a well balanced game and the state of survivor is not fair to the killer.

Some things in DBD indeed is not balanced. Case in point, Dead Hard.
Becuz, being viable doesn't mean it's inherently "fair".
Dead Hard is a great example where it's viable AF, but it's totally unfair.

You just argued that killers who aren't viable are still 'fair'. I'm a little concerned about what your ideal vision of the game is, but I doubt it's something that most killer players would enjoy. Balanced/fair would mean that all killers are viable, certainly?
Not a single killer that I can remember has said that they want to auto-win every game. They just want stuff that is completely unbalanced fixed, and for stuff that isn't unbalanced (see: Wraith, Cenobite, Slinger) to stop being nerfed.
And no - you may not have, but as you can see in this thread - others do. And this is why they don't bother.

Your implication was that not being viable is still fair. To me, that's simply untrue.
Viable may not always be fair, but being non-viable is always unfair.

Sadly this needs to be a US vs them thing cause even if killer mains voice criticism all they hear is git gud followed by five post about how another killer or perk should be nerferd or even better just deletet cause survivors suffer to much we need all to get on the same side to help the game but many surv mains like how it is atm cause they only play with there 4man swf and bully builds we have many of these guys and the will always scream against any fair balance

If there are core issues that needs to be dealt in DBD, what does viability have to do with anything regarding balance? You're absolutely right on the part that there are issues that the devs need to take care of, but leave anything "viable" out of the equation.

What killers "enjoy" has nothing to do with smth that's "fair".
If people want a game where playing killers or survivors feels like an equally matched battle, then that has more to do with proper balance regardless of what's "fun" or "enjoyable" for which side.

...Viability comes in with balance.
For something to be balanced, it needs to be viable. Reasonably powerful, but not broken.
Uh...yes, it absolutely does.
Twins for example are viable, but not fun. They are clunky to play and need some QOL improvements, much like Plague received.
A fun experience is one where the killer you want to play is both viable (as in, if you play well you stand a reasonable chance of winning) and feels good.

Being balanced has nothing to do with being powerful. It means effective, but also equally vulnerable.

No, it doesn't. Both sides have issues with balance and enjoyment which both need to be recognised. Absolutely nothing has to be made us vs them, it's the most counterproductive way of thinking. Get it out of your brain that the other side is out to literally murder you and everyone you hold dear and stop making everything a battle between you and them.

Looking at the front page of the forums this morning, the 'us vs them' stuff is coming primarily from one side. People are giving feedback and are met with 'oh look another QQ thread from killers'.

Why shouldn't killers cry, when this worked perfectly for survivors in the past?
As someone already mentioned, Freddy was nerfed 1 week after his release, not because he was OP, but because he wasn't fun to play against.

At least my own gripes.
Killer doesn't have partial objective completion that feels impactful whereas Survivor does.
- A Hook state doesn't feel as Impactful as a Generator popping or the Exit Gates being Powered, only the Kill does
The Start of the match has Survivors completing a % of their Objective disproportionately faster than other stages of the game
- 3 Gens being popped at the Start if you're not using Corrupt/Deadlock give a feeling of crunch, even if the late-game is where Objectives can be properly patrolled, you feel more like a Work Supervisor rather than a Killer.

I understand that killers are doing the posts more but just a little note, try to not make it sound like killers are the only one to do it so we can avoid the whole "us vs them".
Anyways I do think people should stop just saying "game unfun pls fix" but whenever I see constructive posts it just seems to be put aside. I can't think of a single time where constructive posts actually do something whereas people complaining that something is unfun/unfair/OP, it gets changed. Changed IN THE WRONG WAY but still changed which is where constructive posts would help but like I said, they don't seem to take any of that.

your post is blatant parroting, next time do more than just post a video, the rest of your post is just blatant generalization ,it completely ignoring the fact that unconstructive criticism can be done by anyone (the fact that you put killer tells me this is just flame bait). as much as I dislike the DBD community most complaints about the balance are in relation to how unfair posters feel the game is to them, whether they are right or wrong is another story.

Survivors have been crying about killers forever and keep getting fun things killers have nerfed. So killers are learning that's how you get changes made.

Both sides complain about the aspects they don't find fun. That's part of what the forums are for, to voice our opinion about the game. If the game isn't fun, subjective as that may be, players will leave and play VHS instead (until they realise that is even less fun).

Personally I believe the problem is that there are many people on here who do not know how to post feedback so they resort to the simple most destructive form of feedback.
There are many players on here who you’ll rarely see post who share their thoughts and opinions with an open mind. That quickly get overshadowed by the more “complain without substance” posts. Because it is often the ones who do the most crying that do not provide the adequate feedback.

As a Freddy main, he really needed his slowdown addons nerfed. Survivors complained about forever Freddy, because he could stack slow down addons + slowdown perks.
Instead of just nerfing the slowdown addons, they nerfed his power in general, which nobody really had an issue with.

Uhm what @NoOneKnowsNova meant was the first freddy nerf, which happend 1 week after his release. There was no forever freddy build or anything like that. Survivors simply disconnected against one of the weakest killers back then.
