Does any killer enjoy high mmr?

I'm making this post since I'm getting screwed in the matchmaking. The Devs added bloodpoint rewards depending on what ranking you are in the game. With that being said how is it remotely fair for me to strictly play these sweaty red rank swfs nearly every game when I'm in silver. They get red rank so they should play against killer red ranks, but no I only play red ranks and occasional golds. If I'm against these survivors, fine it is what it is, but I deserve the same reward since I don't play people at my rank. These survivors are so good they can finish three gens before I get 1 hook, and on top of that they do whatever it takes to force me to lose that first hook. There's a reason why it takes a long time to get into a match for survivors-we are running out of killers. There is no counterplay to so many benefits that survivors get, but every single killer asset has counterplays. I'm forced to play survivor because being a killer is pointless nowadays its ridiculous. Truetalent is refusing to play killer anymore until there is a fix, Otzdarva mentions how this is the first time where he sees killers leaving the game for good due to high mmr, it's an actual problem. The Devs seem so out of touch with what's actually happening inside this game. Honestly it's unhealthy for both sides since high mmr forces the killer to proxy camp and force 1 unlucky survivor out to just stand a chance.

If you disagree with any of this then honestly you may not know what's best for the game or you're biased towards the survivor side. If changes aren't made the wait times are just going to get worse since killers aren't enjoying high mmr. Out of all of my friends playing dbd I am the last one that even thinks of trying any killer since it's impossible. Low ranking mmr I understand it isn't nearly as bad and games are actually fun in most cases, but high mmr makes me want to delete the game and never look at it again. Fix this game please, if anyone has any comments/add ons for this post go for it. My goal here was just for a potential Dev to understand how bad it currently is for killers, yet every update I read about killer a and b getting a nerf.

Don't ask me, I have no idea what my MMR is. 🤷‍♂️ (I don't really care what it is that much either to be honest. I just play the game like I normally do and what happens with my rating happens.)

It's a super inconsistent system that makes the game completely unfun. For a casual player there is only 3 kinds of matches. There's the rare actually balanced match of players of equal skill then there's the near constant try hard matches where survivors always trash you the killer and then there's the third match which you get after being trashed at least 3 times where survivors are hopelessly bad and provide no challenge much less fun because you've likely equipped a super toxic survivors must die build in preparation for the swf try hard team that never comes until you switch back to your casual build.

Maybe you don't. I can tell high MMR because gens pop really fast. If you've only got six minutes to do any killing, you can tell.

I enjoy tough games if they are played respectfully.

By tough I mean I have the illusion of a winning chance, aka I roll Midwich and not Mothers Dwelling.

I don't mind the tough opponents but I miss getting chill teams every once in a while. Every high mmr swf is toxic and it's draining.

It depends. The standard 'Hold M1/W' teams at high MMR just bore me. It's one reason I've taken month long breaks. Then I have the few teams that are fantastic at looping, and push a match beyond ten minutes, with a lot of back and forth. I like those matches.

That doesn't mean you're at high MMR. That means those survivors at the bracket you're at are doing gens faster than you can keep up with. Again: nobody knows what their MMR number is. What's fast to you could be the easiest game in the world to someone else.

If you watch streamers you can see when they have high MMR opponents vs not. There are also cheaters who stream dbd who can see their MMR.

Actually hackers know exactly what mmr they are at

There's a hack for that I saw a video on it

The only people who enjoy high mmr are masochists and swf sweat squads.

I don’t know what my MMR is but my trapper experience has gone to ######### so nice the system came out. Oh well. 🤷‍♂️

10-15 minute queues and 4 premade squads only...no, I do not enjoy high MMR. I don't enjoy low MMR either, I was butchering the survivors within 5 minutes, absolutely boring.

Middle MMR however was very nice, I'd make mistakes and survivors got away, they'd try to loop, make a mistake I'd land a hit, the chases were 15-45 sec long, I'd win some, I'd lose some, it was fun. High MMR makes killers call the suicide prevention line with those 2 minute loops, just to get flashlit, sabotaged and body blocked when you finally get the looper.

If you dont know the grade and mmr separate you arent high mmr.

But dont worry you will climb higher and enjoy the game less lol

I see those matches as darksouls boss fights.

If I win them it feels so rewarding. If I get stomped and the match ended as soon as I got in. Then I got time for another one.

Hopefully it goes better that time.
