Is the hacking problem actually a scheme by Behavior?
So I have this theory. I’ve watched numerous videos of streamers/content makers facing hackers. I recently watched a video by Choy explaining the problem with cheaters/hackers on DbD and he mentioned that there are websites to buy brand new accounts for cheap to play the game again after getting banned.
After researching I found out that Dead by Daylight is somewhat actually really cheap in certain areas and countries. So the ones who sell the accounts are profiting off of hackers who buy the accounts.
Now, the thing that I’m most intrigued by is this: when Behavior releases DbD for insanely low prices for discount around the world, and the areas whom already get the game for cheap and get it even cheaper, they buy so many accounts worth for their profit. So by buying so many accounts worth, they are also helping Behavior profit in crazy amounts of money.
With that being said, Behavior may not want to budget for a better anti cheat and instead allow the cheaters to get banned in order for them to buy more accounts from the sellers and to budget off of the sellers who buy their game in bulk.
This is just a little conspiracy theory.

I thought games are cheap in areas where the economy is cheap.

As @eleventbh says, game prices are set by regional pricing as pretty much everything else in the world is.
