to add to this, continue to get mad at the racist pricks. do not get mad at the people who were racially harassed and so asked for the tool to be removed. be angry at those who racially harassed in the first place.

Sure, regardless of how it's being used it is still an issue. That is the point we're trying to make here. It is still an issue because the major problem still exists. The masks are gone, fine. Leave the masks. They'll never come back.
Where did the racists go? Did they just up and leave the game now that all of Bubbas masks are gone?

The answer to your question, why I don't just accept 'lived experiences' as evidence with no actual evidence.

I just wouldnt want you to get the wrong idea and embarrass yourself. In front of a community of people. Some that might look up to you. I'd hate for someone else to get the wrong idea and for a bad reason.

A serial killer, wearing clothes that are associated with women, it's stereotypical. This can also be observed in other movies like Gumb in Silence of the Lambs. It shapes a negative perspective of transgender people, specially transgender women, by associating them with this kind of deranged characters.

i ran into one that might have facecamped me because i was playing claudette but the other ones just camped me because i was the first survivor they found even though I was playing Claudette those time too. All using the "gentlemen" set. I thought it was just a meme based on some facecamping streamer.

Please show me when it was established that Leatherface was canonically a transgender character? Because I'm fairly certain Leatherface is just someone who dresses up as their victims.

Everything isnt offensive, but that's the point. Bubbas masks were by all accounts an extension of his lore. They were not designed to be used as tools for racism. People are using in game content as tools for racism so we decided to remove in game content. Mandy already said racism is unstoppable. Yet we're removing content... does anyone see the problem? No? I kind of figured...
