My top two all-time favorite solo survivor perks (right now)
- Kindred
- Windows of Opportunity
Kindred: I don't see how more solo survivors are not using this perk. You get so much information about the killer and what your teammates are doing.
Windows: You also get so much information from this perk. Not only can you see all the windows, pallets, and breakable walls, but you can see when a survivor drops a pallet and when a killer breaks a dropped pallet (if it's close enough).
For me, these to perks are so vital for solo. Sure there are other good and dependable perks, but I just love these two because of the information I get.

People don't run them because they are information perks. I'd also argue these are great perks for SWF so you can make call outs to the team and know exactly where everyone is at.

Mine are kindred and bond.

But that doesn't make sense that people don't run them because they are information perks. That's exactly the kind of perk that helps in solo matches.

I really like this build as a solo,
Leader: Cause I'm the leader yo.
Prove thyself: cause teamwork
Better together: Cause forced teamwork
Kindred: because you get a very long lasting bit of information from the mixture of these last two

I've been running those 2 perks a lot lately because they are so good. Still trying to decide the last 2 between DH, DS, BT, and CoH

I honestly love kindred, bond, and windows.
I want information!!!!!

I love Windows. It helps for chases as well as knowing where a teammate being chased is, if a pallet is dropped not too far away.

Bond definitely, because then you know if your idiot of a teammate is bringing the killer to you, lol

I personally prefer Empathy if you are going for “information” on the whereabouts of a friend and their actions. It is limited to 128 meters which is insane.
It gives you better information than even a friend could tell you over voice, because it shows you their aura but also when they drop a pallet as well.
I use this for flashlight saves too 🔦 😄
