How to get an killer adept on sbmm?
So basicaly this is short. I was playing as the trapper just after rank reset. And i got a 4k and didin't get the adept. Can someone tell me how does it work on killer side now? Thanks for future comments

You need to make sure all of the categories are maxed. So if you do too well, you, don't get it. If the survivors don't cooperate, you don't get it. You can look up how to earn points in each category and it will make you scratch your head once you realize they used to use this as a basis for matchmaking. Rofl.

It's not about maxxing points, but getting iridescent emblems. You can get a perfect 32,000k score and not get Merciless Killer. Aim to get as many hooks as possible, don't stay too close too hooks, and try to prevent gens as much as possible as well as them being done too quick will effect the emblem.
Much easier to double pip after rank reset too, so that's definitely the time to do it.

Trying to get it and losing a lot of matches until your MMR decrease enough I guess.
The adept achievements are unfair for killers imo, the survivors just have to escape, why killers have to get emblems? A 4k should be enough. In some killer achieving the adept is a pain, Plague for example due how killer work.

hook them evenly, get a 4k. don't stay near the hook (that's the reason I never get it lmao)

Should be just 4k any means with only their 3 perks.
"Kill all survivors as _________ using only their own 3 perks."
Adepts aren't a real problems for me personally (have all) but I can understand how some find them a little tricky.

Like before it will massively depend on luck and the players you verse. I had the exact same issue with the artist, I was getting a 4k with about 9hooks but wasnt getting it but I'll go through everything you need to try to do.
1. This goes of emblems and not points.
2. Getting minimum of 9 hooks will give you an iri emblem, the game has to last X long, if you kill them all too fast or they do the gens to fast that will hurt you.
3. The lower your grade the easier an double pip (merciless) is. So being ash 4 (just after the 13th reset) will be your best chance.
Alot of it is down to luck tbh, but I have done all of them so if you're trying to do a certain one or need advice just ask

Wait till the 13th when everyone goes back to rank 20 and its easier to get a 2 pip.

In general stall the game as long as you can (not more then 15 minutes) ,get atleast 9 hooks, hook everyone atleast once and try to get a 4k, hatch isn't the end of the world if you did all the rest right

You afk till 4 survivors escape, do it many times your MMR will get to the ground and when u get a potato survivor u can finish the adept achievement.

What are you guys talking about? Grades aren't used for matchmaking. It won't be easier after the reset.

Grades aren't used for matchmaking but at Grade 20 it is easier to double-pip because they change the values required to qualify for each pip.

No, but they are used for pips, which is what it takes for "Merciless Killer", the requirement to get any Adept Killer. Two pips is a Merciless, one pip is a Ruthless, black/safety pip is a Brutal, and Entity Displeased is a depip.
At lower grades, the requirement for a Merciless is lower than at the higher ones, and therefore trying adepts at lower grades is easier.

It's not a huge difference tbh, it's about 2 levels in the emblems. So dont take this as a fact as it's been awhile since iv actually looked but
Ash 4 = 3golds 1 iri
Iri 1 = 3iri 1gold
Might not be 100% accurate but its something like that, can be a huge difference at high mmr though as it means you dont need iri emblem in the gen defense etc.

You really don't need to do all that effort. Adepts really aren't that hard anymore.
Wait for grade reset and have a single good match. You can get merciless without killing a single survivor in ash ranks

Yeah, it's definitely annoying a few days prior to rank reset. Getting all these try hard and bullies just to get an adept.
I had them all on ps4. I got a ps5 and of course have to torture myself to get them all again. Thanks for all the feedback in this thread.

If someone dies on first hook (whether because you camped them or because they killed themselves), you lose points for not hooking them multiple times. If you slug someone and they bleed out because you wanted to have a confirmed 4k and not leave chances for hatch to spawn, you lose hook points.
So in short, try to 12 hook 4k. No way you won't get it playing that way

So, I was able to sit out on two games. My 3rd game was relatively easy and I was able to get adept. Hopefully this trick helps you all. I got it with a gold and three iIridescent.... silver III rank. I played as pyramid head.

A few things that'll lower your 'ratings':
- Camping or spending too much time near a hooked person. Sometimes survivors will try to run you around the hook for this reason.
- Killing people too quickly, or someone DCing.
- Not hitting people enough.
- Not kicking enough gens or breaking enough stuff.
- Not chasing for very long (this is really, really dumb on some killers).
- Not getting enough hooks (someone suiciding, DCing or just not being saved = you lose rating).
Getting Merciless is honestly about luck as much as it is about skill. It's taken me over a dozen tries to get it on some killers, because people will realize that you are doing an adept from your perks, and will deliberately try to sabotage it by DCing.
