Imagine a perk ban system
Just imagine the perk that would get ban in every trial. Each survivor can ban a perk and the killer can ban 4 perk. I can already see the ban on each side survivor would ban corrupt, deadlock, ruin and pop. Killer would ban dead hard, bt, CoH and DS if its a spirit she would ban iron will.
The number of dodge will skyrocket XD it would be nice to see for a week end anyway and the dev would see which perk the communuty think is to strong and need a nerf.

The Survivor Meta would cease to exist, and Survivors would get a large chunk (but not all of) of decent Killer perks. 😁
Be funny as heck to see.

This isnt ranked LoL so I hope I wouldn't see this.
I dont like the idea of this because it promotes banning hard counters, and we have enough issues with map offerings to use hyper specific loadouts.

As long as borrowed time isn’t banded then who cares

The main problem I see there is that for a system like this to be implemented you'd need to show the killer to the survivors while in the lobby. And we all know it'd just make it near impossible for certain killers to find matches.

Or for certain Killers to win. There are a few off-meta perks that just hard counter certain Killers.
But it's still a funny idea to imagine.

Not really as a survivor its not because you face pinhead you immediatly going to ban franklin and hoarder and with the ban you can realise who the killer is.

When i think about that its a bad idea because survivor have too many good perk for the ban to matter but killer dont have enough good perk for them to use

If this existed, it would need to be in a separate queue mode.
The killer would need to be hidden so people can’t just counterpick the killer.
And there would need to be perks that cannot be banned for quality of life. Probably Borrowed Time and Corrupt Intervention as the only two.

I like systems like this since it allows for players to sort of "Balance" games when developers are either too slow or unwilling. However I think in the games current state it would be pretty unhealthy. Imagine dbd in a world where killers know for absolutely certain that DS and BT are not in play. If you think the game has a problem with unfun play incentives now you wouldn't want to play the game in that world.
