Should Myer's 'Mirror' Addons Really Be Purples?
Title.
As far as I know, he's the only (or one of the only) killer with their 'meme' addons not being a brown or yellow.
Most killers have at least one addon that gives them a wonky, disadvantageous playstyle in return for more BP. Plague has her tablet, Pinhead has his nail etc.
I really have fun with spoopy Myers, I just wish I could do it more frequently.

With the buffs, I don't even think the T2 one is that meme anymore. 16m of wallhacks at 115 ain't bad on an indoor map. Or any map really, wallhacks are pretty solid.

It's...pretty meme.
His big issue is that he has zero antiloop. This is somewhat counteracted by his ability to instadown - which the mirrors remove. Aura reading is more a fun novelty on him than a compensator.

Sure but any seasoned killer should be comfortable with M1 killers by now. You can't just mindlessly pursue chases but can easily get the drop on people and collect free hits. Sort of like a shittier wraith; but to be fair wraith is very strong vs. solo Q teams.
I'm not saying it's amazing or strong but it's not that weak either. There's significantly worse killers and builds you could be running.

Anything legion. Trapper on a ton of maps. Clown with no bleach, ether, or extra bottles. Plague if the survivors don't cleanse and you load into a pallet town map. Billy/Huntress and some other killers on their worst maps or anyone running an actual meme addon.

Personal opinion here, I wish it was a lower grade add-on just so I can see more Mirror Myers out there. I find them fun to play as and against, especially in indoor maps.

Uh.
- I'd say that even Legion is miles better than Mirror Myers, especially with some of their addons.
- Clown isn't a great killer, I'd also say that he's better than Mirror Myers.
- Yes, 'worst maps' or 'worst etc.' - but we're talking entire killers here, not specific circumstances.

Well you asked for "who is worse than a mirror myers" and that is the almost comprehensive list of builds and killers I think are weaker. I think 16m of wallhacks is a useful tool to have anywhere. But some killer powers are gutted via maps.
And let's be real, maps are a huge factor in DBD. Probably the biggest balancing factor in the game as it stands. Do the survivors get ~12 "meh" pallets when they load into Shelter Woods, or do they load into the game and get ~26 god pallets? It's the biggest factor there is in determining who wins or loses.

Yes, I agreed with builds.
I don't think there is any single killer, factoring in the totality of their addon options that is though. Legion and Trapper are borderline, maybe - but Clown sort of gets a pass due to Finger (at least until 5.5, if that does indeed go live).

Indoor is fine. All maps? Not worth it imo.

16m of Wallhacks sucks when you're not Wraith moving at the speed of light lol and youre sacrificing your only counter to Hold W injured which is T3.

Honestly I'm just a mixture of sad and annoyed that Vanity Mirror finally became not a meme the same patch that CoH and Shadow Step came out.
Those two together just ruin what Salad Myers is good at. Spooky Myers too honestly.

That's my nickname for Vanity Mirror Myers. It's a play off the old Burger King Myers with vanity mirror and tombstone. The joke was that He was slower than survivors because he ate so much Burger King. He's not slower than them anymore because he started eating healthy... So... Salad Myers.

Scratched is absolutely meme.
Vanity is either meme, or near-as-dammit. It's far worse than Plague's 'earn more' addon, which is both a brown and genuinely decent.

I'm going to second that Vanity Mirror does deserve to be a purple. On its own it can be pretty rough, but if you pair it with the right build and don't get completely screwed by map, VM Myers is a perfectly legitimate purple addon playstyle.
Scratched Mirror, though, should really be a brown, maybe a yellow. That's his actual meme addon where you're actively given a way harder match for the lols- and this is coming from someone who really likes playing SM Myers so I'm not inclined to downplay its strength or lack thereof. In a hypothetical world where Myers gets his tier 1 buffed, I could see it remaining a purple, maybe, but right now it should really be lower.

Scratched Mirror is only usable on fully indoor maps (of which there are currently only four: Lehry's, The Game, Midwich, and RCPD) and is trash outside it. It is very much a meme.
Vanity could be a different story, but I haven't really looked into it and can't say whether the wallhacks is worth the loss of T3.
