Killer buffs?
I think I figured out why we don't really get killer buffs that often you guys I don't know how I didn't notice this before but any time someone mentions killer buffs in the q&a questions they are immediately downvoted until they don't exist so I don't really think the devs ever really get the opportunity to see some of the ideas people have
Ik most ideas are trash but I've seen some pretty good ones over the years
Definitely a lot better then changing a number on trapper from 1 to 2

Do they really listen to the Q&A anyway? They got asked a Haddonfield rework last year and still haven’t done anything about it. I know it might be happening soon but I’ll believe it when I see it.

The Trapper buffs went well beyond just changing a number from 1 to 2, for the record. They did quite a lot for him and all of it was good, especially if you include the escape chance change from a few patches prior.
As for the other point, I think the devs do see it- changes just take time and a lot of killer buffs probably aren't a particularly high priority. There's a feedback section here for a reason, the stuff on it is getting conveyed to the dev team.

Behaviour only cares about survivors.
From 2020 to today, Behavior only cares about nerfing killers. They were nerfed to the point of being a joke in matches. The survival aspect no longer exists in this game because playing as killer has become pathetic and ridiculous.

Short list of survivor nerfs since launch: maps have been heavily nerfed (entity blocker added, double pallets removed, infinites removed, etc), bloodlust added, instaheals nerfed, hatch/keys changed, exhaustion changed, DS nerfed, Mettle Of Man nerfed, Prove Thyself nerfed, toolboxes nerfed, Self-Care nerfed, great skill checks nerfed, medium vaults added (used to be all fast vaults), Balanced Landing nerfed.
I could go on. Point being, outside of CoH, killer has never been easier than it is now. If killers are genuinely struggling to win games right now, it's on them.

They nerfed the main building (only the same two windows spawn now) and reduced pallets in Haddonfield already. It’s not nearly as strong as it once was.
Theyre probably just updating the aesthetics of the map.

Well tbf they HAD to do that or else they wouldnt have a killer playerbase at all soooo.... Imagine dbd if all those things still existed today, little to no surprise it would probably be dead like how HSHS just disappeared off the face of the earth other than in some Asian country.

Yeah it’s not like they nerfed the most op items survivors had and nerfed there perks and buffed killers and got them out of ######### tier status. Bubba was the worst killer buffed he’s now amazing. Doc was not good buffed he’s good now. Trapper got his extra bag base kit. He may not be top tier and is still bad but he’s not addon reliant anymore. Plague was buffed to be even better. You say that even though. Last midchapter they buffed 3 killers. They still do them. Just because they nerfed a couple of addons doesn’t mean they still buff killers

Really want them to buff killers. Maybe a fifth perk slot? Do everything possible to balance out the game. That’s what I hope for. Sbmm should be based off of hooks. What I also want the game to stop giving me crappy teammates in solo que lmao

Ahhhhhh a biased Survivor main response. If you think CoH is the only issue then all I can do is laugh.....Maps are still LARGELY unbalanced. Yes they took out a LARGE amount of infinities but there are still infinities in the game. Survivors can 99 doors that dont regress and can open them by just bowing on them. Gen regression is far too slow without ruin, pop, or another regression perk and Survivors can just tap for 1 sec during a chase to stop it.
The list goes on but I digress.....So yes it's the Killers fault for issues they have during a game and not the game balance itself.

Which is nice and sad.....Haddonfield is still the best map for Survivors. Because of the wonky hit boxes of Killer they can get caught up on everything during a chase. One chase as Oni I did a charge and literally got caught on a small corner of a shrub near the small park. The Survivor i was chasing showed me his video of it and shows the smallest corner holding me back......alot of other maps have small sections of tiles that do the same thing just not as bad.

Killer buffs happen constantly. Compare the state of the game 2 years ago to now. Survivors have gotten pretty much nothing and killers have gotten everything.

It used to be, yes. At one point gens were faster, infinites existed, and there were no such thing as medium vaults. But now the game is very balanced.
