I feel its time.

I feel like it may be time for me to move on. By leaving the forums I'm done. The end of it was one or two comments give or take on my last post. It's clear I don't really have a place in the forums at the minute. I don't want to have the fear that Everytime I post something good or bad whatever that I'm gonna get heckled. It's not a good feeling. I have had to deal with not fitting in for years all through childhood etc. Now in adulthood there comes a time where we need to back down. Give up so to speak. I loved the forums very helpful at times especially when I first started on the forums. I have had regular bans on the forum and clearly it was telling me something. Yes I'm really bad at the game as killer and survivor. I facecamp sometimes, tunnel a lot, slug a lot. I think all my posts on here are trying to tell me this forum maybe even the game isn't right for me. It helped with my depression at one point but now it just makes it worse. One minute killers are power role and next survivors are. My views clearly don't matter due to the latest comments I have gained in the last few months.

It's time for me to say farewell after 4 years. Some of you other members have been kind @MandyTalk and some other mods. I only joinedthe forums in hope of finding like minded people for discussions and maybe even some virtual friends to play with.

Peace out.

I'm sad to hear that :<

If the negativity is pulling you down, then yes, its the best to move on.

But I commented to you on your recent Nemesis rant, and I got to say that your opening comment didn't leave much open to discussion, going in depth or banter back and forth.

You can't expect to get awesome replies to a one line rant, so please don't take this criticism too harshly: maybe you should work on your communication skills or if that's not tube problem, at least write a paragraph or two, each consisting of 2-5 sentences. THIS would give your posts some meat to dig in, otherwise its no surprise that a lot of people don't give it a lot of thought and effort, because you apparently didn't either.

But in the end I would love to see you succeed and get better at all of this: not just playing, killing and surviving, but also the communicative aspect and spawn interesting discussions.

Never gonna happen. I have learning difficulties and never learn and it's something I cannot stop. Half the time I come to the forums to release anger sometimes but to be heckled and more or laughed at then that's beyond a joke. Nothing I have ever said in this forum has been able to spawn a positive discussion. A lot of people are too much in their own ways on these forums to be positive.

It is sad for me to hear and read from so many people here how down they are about BM in the game or negative comments on the forum.

Maybe it is a generational thing.

I alway try to tell to not take these things to serious - after all that are strangers on the internet which you will probably never see or even talk or write two times.

But maybe it is because i grew up with real people and no internet. And therefore it is not very important for me what anyone says.

I wish you the best and hope you will find something that can lighten your thoughts a bit.

I am sad to hear that, but for real: thats quite some attitude. I (just some random dude on the internet, but still ^^) gave you some pretty solid tips, like writing longer and more engaging posts, but you seem to want nothing to hear about it. I still stand by my words: try it out and write a longer paragraph that goes beyong "hur dur this bad, every XYZ-Players are jerks!!11" and see for yourself if you will only reap negative results, or if something changes.

I bet that even you, no matter your learning difficulties, can do better and change for the better. :)

There are smaller posts that get more positive comments than mine. So please explain how it's going to change

Sometimes its good to get perspective being stuck in your own head can often leave one closed off form others. I am sorry if i contributed to your pain I realize that i can be a jerk at times especially these last few weeks where ive given up caffeine. I dont tell you that as an excuse but merely a reason and i know i made a few comments on your posts so i am sorry man. I do hope you find your inner peace without the struggles of lifes dangling hooks. take care

I don't have another example right now, besides your Nemesis post from just a short while ago. It was very short and very accusating. What should anyone make of that post of yours, besides giving you some snarky or snide responses? You didn't give any insight on what exactly happened in your matches, but just gave a blanked accusation at all Nemesis players (and sorta killers in general).

This is a prime example of how NOT to get any sympathy of the killer population. At best you will be ignored, at medium get a sarcastic response, at the most probably getting laughed at.

But really, anyone should be at least that much in touch with the human side, so I don't honestly know if this is part of your learning difficulty, or if you are just trolling and playing with my altruism, trying to help you. I gave you some advice, why not try to act on it, instead of looking for further excuses why everyone else is bad and trying to hurt you?

People could have asked me what happened instead of negative comments. I don't always write good stuff but most of my comments on the other posts forums I try my hardest to be positive. My learning difficulties are miles long in in extensivity. Cos I got them severely. I don't mess with people I'm not a vindictive person. Sorry if it sounds like that but it's not the case

Okay, you convinced me that you aren't trolling. So why not try one more time? The next time you wanna rant, think about it and write at least 3 paragraphes, each 2-5 sentences long. In the last paragraph try to reflect on why your opposition behaved in such a despicable and unfun way and try to think of a solution. Lets see how the people of the forums will react to that.

Sorry to hear this mate. I understand what you were saying about the fear of posting things. I also feel like that when it comes to saying anything on here. I personally feel like the forums have gotten worse as time has went on (probably alongside the community's dissatisfaction with the current game).

I have no idea what posts you've made or what you've been like to others but I hope no matter what you get over your depression mate. Enjoy your time away and good luck 👍

This post actually hurts my heart to hear you say you're leaving the forums and it hurts me even more because I just read your reply to my comment in your Nemesis post and I feel like I was part of the problem. I want you to know, my intention was not to hurt you at all and I only had good intentions with my comment. I just phrased it so so badly that it came off as an insult and an attack instead of helpful. I personally feel like @Akumakaji has done a much better job in this post then I did. I hope you can see this as an apology and I hope you can accept it whether or not I was part of the problem.

If you still choose to leave the forums, I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you, mate! I appreciate that and am trying my best to make the best out of the situation at hand. Maybe we can work something out and help @douggie123 here together?

If you feel like this forum is dragging you down then you should definitely leave.

but I guess you just can’t expect people to react the way you want them to - especially if you are not willing to change yourself for it. I have kinda given up on this as well (not necessarily talking about negativity that I think I receive but overall ignorance etc). Best advice from me would be to try to not focus on negativity and maybe also try to look past it. Maybe you are just interpreting posts as negative when they are just trying to be funny and earn internet points/likes without actually trying to be mean…?
