Beginner Perks: Killer vs Survivor

I switched from playstation to Xbox and well...now I have to start again from scratch. I played both killers and survivors and then I got wondering. Who has the better starting perks? The perks itself can't be really compared to each other. But we can see who can make a stronger build and in my opinion it's Survivor.

Spine chill

Resilience

Kindred

The perk from Nancy who the name changed who is now in the starter blood web (destroy a totem and heal yourself fast)

    Definetly survivors.

Mainly because free survivors have way better perks. You can create meta build for free as a survivor.

It got better with Demogorgon perks tho, but Jolt is not valid for any killer.

As a survivor build I usually made them start as David with this build:

We'll make it, Kindred, Dead Hard and WGLF (BP grind starts)

We'll make it and WGLF are really good to start with. Inner Healing and Small game are good to use for beginners too.

Killers now have "Jolt" which is a pretty good regression option and "Fear Monger" which is also pretty sweet. Nothing like a "Hex: Ruin" but a solid perk non the less.

As a Killers your free perks also include "Whispers", "Bitter Murmur" and "Hex: No one escapes Death". As such you can make a pretty basic build with just those perks that will yield you some results: 1 tracking perk, 1 regression perk, 1 hindering perk, NoeD. As an example you can run "Bitter Murmur", "Jolt", "Fear Monger" and "Hex: No one escapes Death". Works fine. Nothing special but fine.

I think just because NoeD is in the mix, Killers have the stronger starting perks...

The only meta perk survs need to buy is ds and coh. Ub, dh, wglf, bt are all free. Killers neec plague, trickster, bubba, clown, blight, hag(?). Could also throw in artist and pinhead depending on how you value pain reso and deadlock

On the other hand killers have access to noed nurse out of the box. So if they decide to just sack up and learn her then gg

    techically speaking.

You can be running strong build just by getting teachables of david - DH and Bills BT.
