Did they buff scream?
Never played him. Finally am tonight with no perks or add-ons to practice his power. I noticed when I'm stalking they will be looking right at me and my power isn't breaking. I thought they have to be looking at you to break your stealth?
I'd be chasing Steve and stalking mid chase and for some reason my power isn't breaking.

They didn't buff him, his reveal mechanic is just the single handedly most broken mechanic in the game.

No, his reveal mechanic is just inconsistent and terrible. Sometimes you can break him out of stealth from behind a rock and other times, I can practically stare directly into his soul and nothing. Kind've annoying how inconsistent his mechanic is actually.
The survivor needs to have their camera positioned on the center on his body which is why I said I could directly stare into his soul sometimes and it doesn't do anything even if it should. Also if the Steve wasn't looking behind him, he isn't going to break you out of stealth.

They weren't looking at you properly. They need to stare into your eyes and ask you why you call him Scream.

Makes sense. I can literally chase someone stalking and get the 1 hit if I keep at it. I guess his weakness is groups.
Takes alot of time to stalk tho. I guess he's considered the worst killer in the game for a reason.
Still kinda fun tho sneaking around if you don't care about losing and more just seeing if you can pull off stealth hits.
