Most Miserable Map/Killer Combinations?

Just had one of 'those' games - Cenobite, against a pretty good 3man SWF on The Game. Ended up sweating for 2 hooks. Literally...nothing I can do, every pallet used, every loop exploited. Just a really mean, nasty game - and of course I get teabagged and told to uninstall in postgame.

Another horror is RPD on Deathslinger or Huntress. Or Haddonfield on...basically anyone.

Huntress on pretty much any indoor map. Myers on blood lodge. Artist on the Swamp maps. Haddonfield in general.

Artist on any of the Swamp maps.

Any killer on RPD or The Game.

Anyone with strong anti-loop and an ability that isn't negated by clutter is...okay on The Game, especially if they have a pallet breaker.

Anyone else - oh man this map can be horrible. You have exactly as much fun as survivors feel like giving you.

I had some rough games with Clown tonight, especially one on RCPD where by the time I even found a survivor two gens were done. (Totally my own fault, I got totally turned around.) But yeah, most of that map isn’t ideal for throwing bottles either.

Even if it is usually a big waste of time to get up there, I sometimes stalk from the top of the main building if opportunity present itself and it is worth doing.

Billy on RCPD. Billy on any indoor is bad, but RCPD... just yikes.

Myers on Cowshed. Though any of the Cornwind maps are very unpleasant for him. Super bright, loops ahoy, can't stalk through corn.

Trapper on Eyrie. You know that part where he's supposed to sneakily camouflage his traps in the environment? Yeah...

Billy and blight on lerys has always been a particularly annoying combo for me. Those killers on Hawkins was pretty annoying too.

Blight, Billy and ranged killers on Lery's

Trapper, Hag, Myers and Ghosty on Eyrie of Crows

110 Killers without mobility on Mother's Dwelling

Basically everyone on Haddonfield and Badham with bad RNG.

Woof, didn't even think of chainsaw killers. I'd hate to even try them on RPD.

I've...learned to live with RPD. It's a horrible, horrible map - but it's just as horrible for survivors. Hag works okay there, but she doesn't really have many weak maps as is. Myers struggles due to the sheer size of the place, but it's fun ambushing people with him.

It's also weirdly decent for Cenobite, as people really struggle to deal with the box effectively.

Pig...yeah. Video and Ruleset #2 is a nightmare scenario for non SWFs there.

Pinhead chase-wise is absolutely ######### painful on RPD. Due to the map's narrow halls and variety of hallways to go to, it's easy as cake to break off the chains, and not uncommon for chains to break immediately, as well as chains spawning right behind the survivor in the narrow hall making Pinhead break all 3 chains at once, giving almost zero value on the chain bound you did.

Top it off with comms and you're definitely bound to lose. You might stand a chance against solos if the box is like 10 miles away in the corner upstairs, but that's the best it can get.

Am I the only one that actually likes the Game? Surprised to hear so many people treat it like Badham. Anyways, my least favorite is probably Legion on Badham because I just had a horrific experience there. Lol. It might change tomorrow if I get that map again.

Nurse on RPD. The only way you can play this out against a good team is if you know the entire map by memory and I doubt anyone who hasn't sunk some dozens of hours into RE2 Remake knows it.

slinger on any large map - self explanatory

legion on rpd - literally impossible to chain hits if survs split up

any non anti loop killer on the game - pallet hell

Ghostface on any Autoheaven map. They are so open you can not stalk for good. Even Ormont is better with the main building. Still you suffer...

Hillbilly on HaddonFun or a McMillain map. Those trees kill something inside of me with these branches and bouncing off a hedge with a chainsaw is just miserable...I rather play Billy on RPD than bumping into a hedge...

Nah, I like it too. But I am no good for this as I also like RPD...

If you play it right then the game isnt that bad, especially as pinhead since he is anti loop with a good passive power.

  • Altarf
    Altarf Member Posts: 1,046

    "Anti-loop"

Pinhead's anti-loop ability is one of the weakest in the game, especially on this map. It's completely countered by tight spaces, walls, and pallets - all of which the Game has in literal dozens. There's a reason why Clown is so bad on the game, and it's the same reason why Pinhead sucks on it. The amount of clutter that snaps Pinhead's chains, combined with the huge abundance of pallets that when dropped, make his chains near-useless, which is enough to make the power itself useless a lot of the time. His chains are good at windows... but the Game has, like, three of those and 32 pallets.

Pinhead's passive power is entirely reliant on the survivors not knowing how it works. Much like survivors not bothering to take their traps off until the timer has activated, survivors that wait until the Chain Hunt has already begun in order to find the box are playing incorrectly and should be punished. Pinhead's passive is definitely the best out of the passive slowdowns because he himself can interact with it... but it's still not something that carries him unless the team doesn't realise "hey, one of us should probably run over and solve the box when it's at 75%, and then he has almost no powers."

    Trapper/Eeyrie of crows.

I don't even play trapper, but whenever I face one here, I almost want to intentionally get caught in a trap just to make the poor sod feel better. Seriously, his traps stand out on that map more than lit hexes do anywhere.

Nurse on Mother's Dwelling. It's literally a wall of Tall LOS objects that connect directly to tall tile sets. It's unreal.

Dwight didn't need no locker he just turned into a god-damned forest nymph.

I'm a Mikey main and I don't mind that map. There's usually a tight three gen somewhere that's easy to defend.

Corn maps are Mikey's biggest enemy as the corn literally hinders his power to stalk.

Let's see here....I have lots of complaints here.

Lery's with Chainsaws, Blight, Huntress, plague, Oni, and trickster.

Trickster - any autohaven map (high walls with high debris).

    Artist - Swamps

    RPD/Haddonfield - anyone.

The game - I actually like this map. if I had to choose a killer not to use on this map it would be Twins.

Mike, Ghosty, Pig, and Trapper - Don't want to see crow map or coldwind.

gas Heaven - also don't want with anyone. I just have the worst experience with this map. I can count on one hand how many times I have won on this map as killer. It's not even the worst map I just have terrible luck if I get it.

Shout out to Midwich - I find this map to be the most balanced overall for killers and survivors. Just my personal opinion though.

    AsherFrost Member Posts: 2,340

That's sad to hear, because corn maps make him scary as hell from the survivor perspective. Never sure where he's at.

    StarLost Member Posts: 8,076

Midwich, Yamaoka, Dead Dawg are generally pretty fair. Shelter Woods can be very RNG, but usually fair. Asylum is decent on most killers.

  • chargernick85
    chargernick85 Member Posts: 3,171

Yamaoka is not terrible. Dead Dawg is a ######### show. Have to spend 2 minutes knocking out walls to catch good survivors. On top of that it has the ability to spawn 3 gens on upper levels which are harder to defend. Also not a small as it looks. Shelter woods is killer sided imo.....I don't usually say any map is killer sided just some worse than others for killer. Asylum decent on most killers.....Now you lost me did you read this thread or not.
