Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

How to make Small Game a Viable Perk again. (And slippery Meat)

I made a Youtube video in which I discussed how we could make Small Game, as well as Slippery Meat, Viable perks again. These perks might have been good at launch but not anymore. Check out RIGHT HERE how it can become a good-to-use perk again!

Well I don't like a nice idea having a park that's too heavily invested in RNG is a very annoying thing.

Hell even some killer powers that frequented around RNG like escaping the Trapper's trap or getting the rbt off, can be extremely annoying for both sides.

Small games in it's current state is not a bad perk it's something that you could very easily just buff the benefits for example increasing the range and showing an aura.

This would make it much more viable in chases as you won't practically be on the trap when it goes off and you can plan accordingly.

Increasing the range would actually be more harmful than helpful.
Showing the aura would be cool, but that might be too much.

    How about one simple fix.
If you're looking at a totem/trap with small game, the perk lights up. :o that's literally the only thing it needs

I would be careful of buffing any perk that affects Traps.

Trapper is one of the weakest killers going at the moment anyone above rank 10 won't stand in them unless they are playing careless in which case they deserve the punish.

Even if it's just a chance, being able to avoid the power of a killer is too strong, and from the killer perspective it would be terrible.
Imo Small Game is fine, it's a good perk to learn totem spawns and avoid traps, I only wish it didn't work for stuff several meters up unless you look up because currently in The Game and Haddonfield it's very confusing.
Slippery Meat is outdated for sure though. I think it would be nice if it made the survivor un-grabbable during actions (so not when standing inside a locker, but while vaulting, repairing or entering/leaving the locker)

Before the Hag DLC it used to show the aura of traps, but they changed it so it unlikely the aura reading will return.
