How Many Years After Solo Buff Will the Corresponding Killer Buff Take?
Just wondering how long we can expect the gap to be while they wait for 'the data'.

Look at the mori/key nerfs, they really don't care about dropping changes in a fair way.

Something like FOV slider and making some maps smaller would be nice and affect even weaker killers

They said that they will buff solo up to SWF level and buff 'killers from there'.

I could understand this question if we were talking about a buff to surv basekit. Like if they go ahead with basekit BT or something. But just giving soloQ survs the information to play properly? I'm a killer main but I take little satisfaction in winning because my opponents played badly or simply didn't have the tools to compete properly.

This is a lot of free information to give out. Its not just minor buff.
True, new players wont even use it correctly but for already average-good survivors this is gonna be huge. Especially if they go with all icons they propose, even chase and exit gate one will start to save survivors a lot of time without even using perks designed for that

why would killer need to be buffed if solo was? the point of buffing solo would be to bring it up closer to killer level

Right I don't want this construed as me thinking killers don't need buffs. Because they absolutely do. I just don't see why it seems like a lot of killers don't want survivors to have -basic- tools for team based games. Like when I play a game I want my competition to be able to be the best they can not be arbitrarily hamstrung by a lack on information. It's not fun for me to not know if I'm playing a 1v1v1v1v1 or a 1v4

I play mostly survivor and I want quality of life changes. However I really think this is way too much info even tho swf has it all and even better.
Problem with this change is that they should also make some quality of life for killers in the same patch.
And making maps like Mothers dwelling, Cowshed, Disturbed ward, Blood lodge, etc. smaller in size would be a nice start imo

The game isn’t designed around comms though. Working with limited information is intentional and is bound to lead to mistakes.
Bringing solo queue closer to SWF would render many killers too weak because comms break the original design of the game, so killers would need to be buffed accordingly.

This game wasn't designed with SWF at launch. It's in the game now and it isn't going anywhere. You either bring solo close to SWF and balance around that or you leave the game a mess.

Or you just remove the thing that's actually breaking the game, SWF, instead of making the whole game equally broken

Well no, the point is to buff SoloQ to SWF levels. As you may, or may not know, Killers are at a pretty big disadvantage when going against a SWF

So their own stats show, that SWF have a 15% higher survival rate and now they want to buff solos to be closer to this increased survival rate.
But since kill rates are roughly around 50%, this buff would leave killers at a 35% kill rate, right?
