The offerings that are supposed to make the trap darker should simply create map specific "rubble" tiles around the trap, in order to conceal it on grass less maps.

If so, without that addon in Crow map, Traps are still useless. They just need to put some grass there, treat it like the other realms.

They should just change the addon to move the slider in the other direction. Instead of darker traps, increase their transparency a bit and make 'camo' traps. Those could be used regardless of environment.

They could add oil patches to the floor, with oil occasionally rising up, to mask the trap entirely.
Somethings gotta give Trapper an advantage, it should at least be the map itself.
