First game of the day, got put into a backfill lobby and had this happen to me.
I left the entire replay clip here, just so you see the full picture of this experience.
Just wanted to share this with people as I'm still staring at my screen thinking of what just happened...

It was power struggle! The guy had the full build for it: Unbreakable, Flip-Flop, Power Struggle
I'm not confused about how he dropped the pallet on me, it's more the thing of how fast it was and the entire scenario :D

Well hopefully you learned your lesson, in the extremely rare chance that a survivor brings an entire build to do one, slightly useful thing, and gets lucky to have the perfect scenario play out, always go out of your way to make sure that action is denied.

Power Struggle was buffed so the time it takes to drop a pallet was sped up.

you didnt go to the hook directly in front of you when you picked up the survivor.

Yeah, I was used to people trying those setups when the killer happens to slug you, but as you can see I took a direct path to the nearest hook without any slugging, which is the 'crazy' part :D
(In retrospect I know that there was a closer hook to my left which would have avoided that entirely, but in the moment that was the hook I saw closest.)

dun worry, that stuff happens. the aura in this game should be on all hooks even if they are in vision.

Nobody used a map offering and the guy was just trying to get a challenge done.
With the boil over and wiggle buff, you might wanna add a perk like diamond grip or something :D

I guess the mid-chapter patch went live this week? I have no idea! But the video they posted didn't have PTB in it, so maybe? Lol.

It was like 3 seconds... I am not sure the scenario is as niche as you say. Most hooks are near pallets and he had literally no support to pull it off whatsoever. It is underrated as hell and I am glad most survivors are not intelligent enough to understand that hook denial is powerful, otherwise my games might actually be scary.
