I am once again asking for help
Let me break down my situation:
I play dbd on both xbox and on mobile, I play mobile more because it's just more accessible to me.
However, I could also get Dbd on my PC if I wanted to. The obvious cons would be having to restart the grind and to sink some more money in to the game, but I'd also like to consider the benefits:
-I'd get a fuller Dbd experience. Mobile is lacking tons of content, and Xbox makes playing some killers a huge headache.
-PC is almost as accessible to me as mobile is
-I haven't completed the grind on Xbox quite yet. In fact, I'm still missing quite a few good perks. So switching to PC wouldn't be THAT bad.
-Mobile can be quite finnicky. There are some times when it is completely unplayable, and it's extremely frustrating.
-Finally, a fresh start could actually be good for me. Having a grind to focus on could keep the game from becoming stale.
I haven't made up my mind quite yet but right now I'm leaning toward going to PC, but I want a second opinion before I rush in to something I may regret.

For me, the biggest question would be how financially reasonable would it be to do it.
How many killers do you play? Do you want to buy them all again? Do you have the money to be buying them when you might already have them somewhere else?
As far as the grind, I mean, It depends on how many killers you play and what perks you like using on them. For me, I kind of really only care about Pig, Deathslinger, Huntress and Trickster. But the perks I mainly use come are the basic dime-a-dozen perks from plague, clown, and bubba. The bright side is once you get those perks unlocked, you don't have to tread through garbage perks as long so you'll get your full build pretty quick.

If PC is more accessible to you, I would do it especially if you haven't completed the grind. I thought I'd make the switch, but all my friends are on console, everyone is P3/50 and I love my Xbox (easy party, easy reports, easy clips)
My cons for PC need discord, I suck with mouse and keyboard, fresh start, smaller screen, not enough room (I don't really have a PC set up) also don't care for the chat feature although easy to ignore I'm just not a fan. I like my silence

None of my friends play dbd, so I play killer almost exclusively and the having to use discord won't matter too much luckily

I say do it. The only thing I can think of is like what @WeenieDog asked. Depending on how many killers you play are you willing to grind shards or pay money?

I can offer some insight as I have the game on PC and PS5.
The experience, in my opinion, is much better on PC. Mouse and keyboard makes all the difference for killers. You have speed or precision with an analog stick. Never both. Mouse and keyboard lets you have both.
Additionally, you have much more control over the brightness of the game. Set the game to low graphics and change the settings on your monitor. Suddenly you can actually see what's happening on the screen on every map.
Performance wise, it really depends on your hardware. PS5 performed great for me.
The grind is obviously an issue. A stupid issue. A very, very stupid issue that should have been addressed years ago. ANYWAY. Yeah, that's entirely up to you whether you want to grind everything again.

Man, I really wanted to like playing on Mobile, it has some nice features that PC doesn't, but those controls are so rough! I kept finding myself chasing a survivor and thinking how if I was on PC it would be over really quickly but just being unable to deal with the turns.

Lmao if I gotta be honest, if I had to redo the grind over again I'd straight up quit and never play again. XD
I have too many killers p3 all perks (like half) and too many p3 lvl 50 (only like 6 or so remaining) that's not even counting the 4 survs I have p3 all perks...and every teachable on both side.
God forbid if I somehow lost everything or had to redo it all. I'd be like "welp ig I beat dbd" and move on to other games while maybe watching every now and then when others play

You can SWF with console gamers.

Last I checked bestie discord/teamspeak weren't yet integrated into consoles x

Hook up those cans to some wires and talk to them through that.

I'd honored if you harassed me to SWF with you

I've already lost it all before, and I also completed the grind on mobile (although that was much less severe)

I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal getting a fresh start. In reality, I missed my original account terribly. But the situations are completely different so maybe you won't miss your first account?
