is Myers ever getting a model rework?
Trapper, Doctor and Nurse got a texture/remodel rework, of other killers did I am unaware about, but Myers really need an update into his model because he looks old and it shows, is it happening anytime soon?

It would be nice, but any changes to Myers would need to be approved. Naturally you would think the license holders would be more than willing to capitalize on the resurgence of the Halloween franchise in any way they can, but that new found popularity is no doubt costly because any changes cosmetically probably increased in price.

They said they have no plans for the Shape at the moment in the last Q&A. Total BS. Outdated, he needs help bad more then legion and ghostface in my opinion. The devs haven't shown any love for this iconic killer in ages minus a couple add on buffs.

All I want is for them to add different sounds to the lead pipe. It's always a bit weird that bonking people on the head with a lead pipe sounds like a kitchen knife.

He looks perfect. They nailed him well. It's 2022 now and a graphic rework may be appropriate. Let's hope they nail it again.

If he does get a model rework, I hope they make him actually look like how he did Halloween.

You guys realize there is not much they could add aside from a bit clearer textures as for the model its not low poly enough all it would do is make the game run poorer on lower end machines. Granted im all for better models when the games performance isnt lacking.

IMO I would just update his textures similar to the treatment they gave to Clown in 4.5.0. I honestly believe Myers' model looks fine.
I wouldn't mind a model rework though.

If it ain’t broken don’t fix it. I actually think his model feels pretty current. I don’t know what they would change aside from maybe his textures, because his model looks perfect to me.

They've already reworked Laurie, they're going to be reworking Haddonfield, so there's every chance Mikey will get a visual rework too.

He's literally one of the most rudimentary designs of all the killers combined. The best the devs could do is improve the polygon count, but even that wouldn't change much drastically.
That said, it's weird that they haven't done smth this simple sooner. Bill got a simple beard model + texture update without even getting a patch note, so why can't the Shape receive smth similar?

For some reason killers are just taking forever to update but survivors oh no! All done!

Probably because survivors all use the same head, they just swap out hair or add an overlay for different makeup, killer skins usually have gruesome entire body transformations which would require and entire rework, Myers is a special case because he's licensed and we have no idea if they'll ever be able to change him, but sure, lets turn this into the devs favour survivors or something.
Like how tf do you update the huntress? They'd have to redo every mask and even then it isn't the same as a facial change bc nobody is going to notice a smooth mask being updated to HD.

Hmmm. That’s a lot of work. Models are actually very complicated. You won’t understand unless you’re a games developer. It’s just not feasible.
