April fools event
Who else would love it if for april fools there was a fake trailer for the new killer The Crapper? The chapter could be called "Bowels of destruction." The killer being Devon McMillan, The Trapper's shorter and more portly cousin. The crapper can take a crap wherever he wants and any survivor stepping on it will gag from the stench and lose the ability to sprint until clearing the crap. He could have perks like "drop one" when dropping a carried survivor they gain no bonus to their wiggle meter, you gain a speed boost temporarily with a lengthy cooldown. "cut the crap" when a survivor stuns, blinds or teabags you they lose the ability to interact with object for awhile. Finally he has "hits the fan" when you hook a survivor other survivors scream revealing their location and become exposed for awhile. I wonder what Samnation thinks of this imagining of his parody character?

The current event is so messed up for killers (hooks not correctly awarding BP, and the BP values tuned so low that you're going to earn half of what survivors do even on close games you win), plus the Boil Over shenanigans - it feels like the April Fools event is already here.

idk what youre doing as killer but bp gains have been great for me, this was one of the lower-end matches tonight.
idk if you know this or not but it's worth noting as killer you get 2k uncapped bp for each unique hook you use- if you hook a survivor on a hook you've used before then you won't get anything.

That said yes, I misunderstood how the BP gains worked. When I noticed the disparity, I started testing without the envelopes XD.
There are still some hooks that aren't rewarding BP, I definitely found a few in Lerys.

I want the devs to somehow, only for april fools day, revert the game to version 1.0.0 or something ridiculous like that.

As for hooks not rewarding points at all, that's definitely a bug then. Unless they're basement hooks in which case, intended.
As for them changing it from unique hooks, I don't think they ever said they would? I may be mistaken I just don't recall reading it lol.

How about for just april 1st no perks work whatsoever. I think it would be fun for April fools day if player had to use their knowledge of the game and items/ add ons to get the job done. I don't think the game would be unfair in this state. You may say "Killers won't have trouble downing survivors so they'll steam roll." Or "without slow down perks killers are gonna get gen rushed." Well I think with survivors being more likely to use stealth and healing each other killers and survivors will have a very unique experience. Just imagine someone putting on such god awful perks like Buckle up, sole survivor, territorial imperative or monstrous shrine and then being like "well THAT PERK sure doesn't help much!" Knowing full and well that no perks are doing anything today.
