Why The Blight is so OP?
I don't understand why this killer is so OP and nobody says anything. The turns he makes are absurd, practically impossible to escape. And why doesn't his power have a cooldown? Honestly facing any player with the least skill with this killer is very frustrating. A killer with high mobility and easy damage. Amazing how this game is so unbalanced.

He isn't OP,
The turns he makes are very telegraphed and its very hard for him to change course once he's committed to them
His power does have a cooldown
He can be frustrating to verse especially with certain Add Ons and builds, especially in Solo Q
Its imbalanced sure, but not for the side you're thinking and even then its a bit more balance than some people like to claim

I'm devotion 13, I know what I'm talking about. PC gamers will never know what it's like to play with low fps, lags, crashes that we face on consoles. But the problem is my inexperience, for sure.

His power has a cool down. It depends on how many tokens you make him use to either miss or hit (excluding alch ring). Also this killer is really OP in the hands of people who understand him inside and out. I don't really see any mid-tier blights getting sub 40 second chases unless the survivor is straight oblivious to what they're doing.
I would say he's the most balanced killer when used in his base power.

Because he is INCREDIBLY difficult to play.
Go ahead, try him out for a few dozen games. I bet you just switch to ignoring his power and just manually chasing survivors 9 times out of 10.
If somebody is kicking your ass with Blight, they put in a ridiculous number of hours to overcome how horribly he is designed and controls.

As some one who has played with a ######### PC for 2245 hours (yes I kept track of that) with a PC that could run the game at 20 fps at the absolute lowest settings (including messing around with the config) yes, I know exactly what its like. I remember being able to tell if it was a Doctor straight from the get go because my frames would get even lower.
So, tell me this. What the hell does this have to do with Blight?

He is only OP because you never played him so you have no idea how much he can turn and flick therefore you giving him easy hits.
Making him seem op while in reality, if you understood his power you would dodge a lot of it easily

I am just so sick to death of seeing him but I understand why people are playing him. It would be great if more killers were viable so I didn't get Blight every second match as I am so over him at this point

He isn't. His kill rates are pretty healthy. He has maybe one addon that needs a tweak, but there are bigger priorities right now.

Do you still play at 20 fps? Have you experienced Blight with 20 fps?
If not, then you don't understand that it has everything to do with Blight because he is affected most by bad fps and lag than any other killer.

This is not true. The flicks can't always be reacted to, in fact he is the killer with most kills in tournaments.

He is top killer but making it as he is broken op without counterplay is pretty hyperbolic

There is nothing to truly understand. This is not some complicated manuvre to do
You look down, then flick and get a free hit because the survivor doesn't have time to react.

Yes you arent wrong. However survivor can be aware of those flicks and simply try to position themselves so that hit would not be possible or quick run into different position cause they know Blight's line of sight is very limited when he is doing it.
Of course you cant avoid it 100% of the time but depending on map you playing, you have always options to do so.
I find killers like these more fun to verse, looping M1 killers is the same thing over and over

I think he is super fun to go against and to play as, probably the best designed killer in the game, but yeah as someone said, every other match it's Blight, I legit got 8 in one day. It just becomes boring to go against him.

Either you are new to the game and are clueless about how to counter and loop killers, or you're just baiting.

He can do 90 degrees turns going faster than Billy. There is no position a survivor can go to avoid that. Very safe pallets are the only things stopping Blight and the funny part is that he can destroy those in 2 seconds.
There is nothing fun about uncouterable mechanics

The Blight is fine.
The Exploit is not.
The Alch Ring/Blighted Crow w/ Ruin Undying Tinkerer Pop vs solos is also not.
But at base, without using any exploits, Blight is an example of a perfectly made killer.

All I can say is I am just so sick to death of Blight and it seems that many of the random solo team mates I have are too, as they often just kill themselves first hook. Just finished a Blight game and everyone just threw to get out of the match... the problem is every match is Alchemist Ring and it is very unfun to go against as it has no downside and no real counter

Except there is no way to avoid that of course... well very limited options to and with flicks the chance to react is very small

Please upload your plays and link to your videos, as I have to see the ONLY person who can consistently outplay high DPI flicks. I have yet to see anyone with countless hours in DBD who can do this for any length of time, so I am honoured to be acquainted with someone who arguably must be the best player in DBD. I look forward to your videos!

not really. When he rushed, you have to wiggle and spin to change direction. If he gets on top of you = hit. Because BHVR increased the hitbox.
So the idea is to always run a bit sideways so he cant get exactly on top of you and by changing direction you can force him to do a miss (flicking into wrong side).
If he zones you via bump logic…its outplay.
Tiles it all depends, there are sweet spots for blight. Regarding tiles, more or less, all of the gyms loop counter clockwise (a bit bad wording) but force him to pinball from outside, otherwise he will pinball on lockers/barrels/pallet and zone you again.
If he bumps on a rock for instance. Run away from rock the way he cannot have you in los.
He will either try to flick around rock or spend tokens on bumps around to find you

Killer is in such a sorry state that blight is probably the most balanced killer in the game. A killer needs to be powerful to win the current 1 v 4 state as its very easy to lose a lot of gens early on even with perks (not everyone has these unlocked). Dbd base game is built poorly perks try to correct but only end up overcorrecting and stagnating the game.

Tragically, no. There's still ways of lag flicking and let's be real it's only a matter of time before people find another way of bypassing the turning cap.

Hug tech I wouldn't class as an exploit, but there's still ways to break the turn cap last I checked + there will be ways in future too.

Yeah this, plus hug teching has been in the game since the removal of jflicks so I assume they would’ve fixed them if they were problematic. So it it’s safe to say that every blight unintended exploit that’s not a feature has been fixed.

Being devo 13 doesn't make you good. It just means you play a lot.
I played WoW for like 8 years, and almost exclusively did PvP. But I was no better than average. Playing for 8 years didn't automatically make me a good player, not did it automatically mean I understood every single tactic that other players used

I don't know how outside of breaking the frames even further than the previous LagFlick™, but I also don't know how to do that one either. I asked around quite a bit but either people didn't know or they didn't want to tell me how since I don't play Blight.

At most you can say some add-ons need changes. But, Blight is one of the most versatile killers out there with a high skill ceiling

Some absolutely were, hence why I said breaking the cap further. It absolutely is not practical to do so in public games, but it's possible- at least last I checked, which admittedly wasn't recent (but it was after they fixed LagFlicks the first time round). If I was able to post video evidence I absolutely would, but I'm almost certain I'm not allowed and really don't want to risk the perma ban- I hope you understand.
