Dedicated Servers Now!

im tired of waiting for them. I have had so many games tonight that were so laggy due to poor connection with the killer. Wasn’t just me asked everyone in the laggy matches and they all had the same problem.

I just finished a game where I got unhooked tunneled and almost made it out the gate but a teammate that was trying to take the hit for me lagged in front of me which made the game flip out and lag harder and ended up pushing me back into the killer when it would have taken 2 more steps I would’ve been knocked into the escape but nope.

If u have bad internet don’t play killer ur screwing up the game for everyone else. I’ll just start reporting laggy killers for gameplay sabotage since their knowingly playing with bad internet making it an unfair advantage since they don’t typically experience as much lag as the survivors do. I don’t care if it’s not fair to tell someone to basically not play the game. It’s true if you’re gonna purposely make a match unplayable then don’t play.

It’s not falsely reporting tho. It’s gameplay sabotage it’s giving the killer an unfair advantage.

Having bad Internet is not bannable. Lagswitching is.

doesn’t have to lead to a ban just a penalty is all. Bad internet causing an unfair advantage is sabotage. Sure you can still win but it’s hard to go through chases because ur not exactly sure if ur gonna vault or if ur actually still running to the window etc.

Unless you're willing to pay their ISP for a better connection, this is pointless and will only get you banned. While I agree that it sucks, and that a good connection should be a requirement for online gaming, it's not reportable and it's not punishable. You're doing nothing to help the problem.

The only thing that’ll help the problem then is for everyone who has terrible internet to just stop
playing until the servers come out then. Cuz I’m tired of these laggy games their not fun and extremely annoying

Exactly, but you know as well as I do that they won't, so we're just going to have to deal with their selfishness.

Well you can always DC them to not have to play those kinds of matches.

Have fun playing survivor then. Because if what you're complaining about is true, then if all the killers with bad internet were to stop playing then you won't find any games. All the good lobbies would be cramped with other players who want to play the game. Just live with it, lord knows I do.

First off, you can dodge lobbies with high ping. I sometimes get into lobbies with over 800ms and it’s a hi-n-goodbye for me. Anyway, given the lack of games lately, I have to live with 300/350 ms games. All in all, they aren’t that bad.

If the ping goes up tremendously during a chase, then you might be facing something else.
However, the servers won’t be here earlier than expected I guess. It would bring more complications into the game due to a poor and rushed transfer.
